“Illegal”is an objective description of certain persons’status. If it offends the “illegal,” he or she should pack up and go back home, and then the word “illegal” will no longer apply.
The divide between truth and satire vanished during the Xlinton years. Honestly, people would have been savaged for writing this crap thirty years ago. And get the hell off my lawn.
I think the article could have used a barf alert, JMHO.
I thought that the major responsibility for a university was to provide a path/program for students to pursue, to obtain an education, leading to a degree. I didn’t know that the primary responsibility of a university is to protect the students from every little potential irritant that might possibly offend any student.

What nonsense. The use of the word in the restaurant’s name doesn’t refer to immigrants or Mexicans. So basically, lefties are so insane they don’t want us to use the word in ANY context.
Besides, if the restaurant owner had really wanted to make this association, why wouldn’t he have called it “Illegal PEDRO’s” instead of “Illegal Pete’s”?
Even their “test” is itself racist. Why should we check if the word is connected to anything Mexican? Doesn’t that imply that all illegal immigrants are Mexican?
It’s only a racist restaurant if it refuses to serve minorities.

When I lived in San Marcos, CA there was a market called “El Mojado” with a big mural of a Mexican wading through the Rio Grande. It was hilarious! Located in a decidedly Hispanic part of town and owned by a Mexican family.
I own investment property in Tucson and travel there frequently. I look forward to going to this place.
