The question of how the Islamic State funds its sprawling caliphate has been discussed in the past: we first broke down the primary driver of ISIS revenue well over a year ago, in September 2014, when we explained that "ISIS uses oil wealth to help finance its terror operations."
...
We wonder how long until someone finally asks the all important question regarding the Islamic State: who is the commodity trader breaching every known law of funding terrorism when buying ISIS crude, almost certainly with the tacit approval by various "western alliance" governments, and why is it that these governments have allowed said middleman to continue funding ISIS for as long as it has?

Does any serious thinker still belive that the soetoro / jarrett / soros regime is not complicit in the founding, funding and arming of isis?
Congress would not and has not passed a use of force resolution against ISIS, ISIL or IS.
Obama sent one over. Congress said it was not perfect. So instead of passing their own, they just let it sit.
Meanwhile, no sanctions at all against them. The last resolution was against Al-Q
My question no one is asking is, “If ISIS is contained, why are there so many refugees? Shouldn’t they be headed home?”
From what i've read elsewhere, "Tyler Durden" is not one guy. It's several different guys who write under that name. Somewhere on Free Republic is a post in which they identify the name of the main "Tyler Durden", but I didn't consider it important at the time, so I didn't save a link to it.
ISIS is in Iraq with some control of oil production areas. They have had control of one of the larger refineries but was pushed back out.
Turkey is a bigger buyer of their oil for use in their own refineries.
An increase of half a million barrels per day? How?
Since they stole most everything including the oil field and refinery, their cost per barrel must be pretty low. Corruption is endemic in the surrounding countries so no one is interested in stopping or catching the buyers. Now, why haven’t we taken the oil field out? Smart bombs could do a surgical shutdown without the environmental damage I’d think.
I have to believe that these Islamic jihadist terrorists somehow benefit from the cultivation and processing of raw opium in the Middle East.
Or maybe they're smart enough not to ask.

Here’s a gem from ZH:

does anyone find it unusual that as the American domestic oil production was peaking, and leading the world’s proven reserves, suddenly the price starts to fall, and ISII is boot-legging oil at a discount....ocean tankers must be loading someplace, stop the ships, with a marine blockade...
Love Zero Hedge
I remember that piece last year about new cars piling up unsold around the world.
I thought it was just doom crank stuff.
Afterall, how could auto mfgrs function if they were sitting on ever increasing unsold car inventory, ie: they’d run out of revenue to cover their cost of goods “sold”?
Do you believe someone somehow are propping up all the auto mfgrs?
It seems as if it would all collapse after a short while.
Zero Hedge: The financial world’s Debka.
Someone’s buying... interesting.
Wow.
I gotta start reading over there daily. That’s nuts. And nowhere in the media.
who needs to buy munitions when you have accidental airdrops ala Hunger Game style when needed?
'13 to '14 was about ~400 MBPD increase, 20% larger is not such a stretch.
Holy cow!!!
ISIS controlled areas are producing about 1/10th of what they used to. It isn’t a huge amount leaving on ocean tankers. It is a constant flow by trucks and barges. Or it was last week....
SOROS!!!!!!!!
