Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), despite good reviews in the debate and yet another immigration issue set up for him to exploit, has a rockier path ahead of the him than he did before the Paris attacks. Like a number of other candidates, he has a path to the nomination, but it is narrower than many imagined. Here are six reasons:

They may as well and save us all the trouble because neither of us are willingly going to back off one iota. And I don’t think zotting anyone for fighting for conservative principles is on the agenda.
You do realize that this drive-by, Washington Post article is pushing Trump over Cruz, right?
Jennifer Rubin is the WaPo version of David Brooks. Her next astute observation will be her first.
exactly, both are boring without much insight.
btw I’m guessing Jennifer doesn’t like Cruz
Some of the things she thinks are negatives are actually positive — like staying out of Syrian Civil War, or not being a “strong man” (a phrase that usually appears with negative connotations).
He always waves his arm out there. He looks like a ham actor doing a stage act looking yonder to Juliet on the balcony...About as phony as it could be.
Thanks.
I’ll check.
Yep. But they have never supported Trump and he has never needed their support. It’s different when you’re at 10-15%. But it’s not about Cruz. It’s about the drive-bys.
A couple of months ago, Ted said there is no alliance of any kind between him and Trump. Cruz is in it to win.
I won’t even open this story to read it.
Rubin is one of the most offensive RINO commentators I’ve ever seen. I’ve heard her speak on the radio at different times and always assumed she was brought onto give the liberal position. Just had to SMH when I heard her described as a “conservative.”
Huge RINO Hewitt loves her and brings her on his show all the time.
Yes. As does Michael Medved.
All three are part of the GOPe media arm.

>> Go back about three weeks here on FR. There were a dozen stories at least about Cruz being the âmost likely GOP candidate,â <<

Can you help us out on this?
I’ve run a search, and have not found even one that fits your description.
How about a few links?

Couldn’t there be an alternative conspiracy theory, Larry? The MSM support Clinton and want her operative in position to Perot his way out of the general. I mean, nobody thought Willy could beat Bush, until Perot showed up and elected the Boy President not once, but twice.
Rubin couldn’t find more than six? She’s not going to get that big an envelope this week. Happens again and she’s out.
Luckily I don’t have to listen to Medved much because he comes on after lunch and before the ride home. Medved is a horrible anti-Cruz hater. At least Hewitt has Cruz on and offers praise for his intellect/education/lawyering skills.
Partisan Media Shill and Demwit Talking Point Trojan Horse, Jennifer Rubin, swills out more nonsense for the Washington ComPost, and the Party of the Single Party State, IOW, her party.
