Marco Rubio: "At least two of my colleagues in the Senate aspiring to the presidency, Senator Cruz in particular, have voted to weaken the U.S. intelligence programs just in the last month and a half," Rubio said, referring to the passage of the USA Freedom Act that ended government's ability to hold on to bulk amounts of metadata.

"If it is the case that the federal government is seizing millions of personal records about law-abiding citizens, and if it is the case that there are minimal restrictions on accessing or reviewing those records, then I think Mr. Snowden has done a considerable public service by bringing it to light," Cruz said on June 11, 2013, echoing fellow senator and current presidential candidate Rand Paul.
Well Cruz does like a fight. Let’s see if he is up to it.
FUMR!! Turncoat Gang of eight amnesty pimp!
Ball is in your court now Marco....
Marco smells desperate
Wow, linking to Snowden seems like a desperate hail Mary pass, pretty dirty. Ted ought to swat this like a fly and turn it back on Marco Amnesty.
Rubio = Establishment Trash
Trump/Cruz 2016
I think Marco just teed up the ball for Ted.
Did Rubio slam Rand Paul by name as well?
Yep, I hope Cruz asks Rubio at the next debate to give some concrete specifics to the tie to Snowden. Time to embarrass this RINO to oblivion.
Marco’s playing “Risk for Beginners”, while Cruz play “Civilization V”...deity level.
Hail Mary pass and not a very good one.
Cruz is taking the middle ground between Rubio and Paul on this which is where most Americans are.
Cruz will mop Rubio up and squeeze him like dirty water over this issue. Rubio is lying and getting desperate trying to compensate from his immigration, gang of eight exposure and it is showing.
Not that I know about.
But, the fact that Rand Paul no longer appears to be a competitive candidate might be the reason for Rubio’s silence.
It is as if we have a badger on the loose inside our house (or one might potentially get in). On one side we have people like Rubio who think we need to cover the furniture with plastic, keep the trash can empty, chain the fridge door closed, sweep up the badger droppings, etc...
On the other hand we have people like Cruz who say, "No we don't need to change our lifestyle (right to privacy) in order to accommodate the badgers (3rd world invaders)."
We need to prevent having badgers (3rd world invaders) in our house in the first place. Then we can go back to living like 1st world civilized citizens with rights to privacy, property and autonomy.
I bet Marco thinks it is a fair trade off to have our daughters groped by the TSA as long as it means we can continue to be a modern "multicultural" society. Personally, I would rather be a uni-cultural society and not have to subject our daughters and mothers to such treatment.
Cruz is absolutely right. There are ways to monitor the bad guys without violating the Fourth Amendment rights of all Americans. Rubio knows that.
Screw Rubio, this is the same dude that worked with Schmuck Schumer on the gang of 8 amnesty bill. He is nothing more than a clone of Jeb.
