You're right about zero experience in politics.. the rest of what you say is bunk...

Really? That Trump doesn't have "a documentable history of leaning leftward moderate"?

On May 4, he was accusing Pam Geller (of "Draw the Mohammed" contest fame) of 'taunting' Muslims, saying:

"And, you know, I'm one that believes in free speech, probably more than she does. But what's the purpose of this? She's taunting them -- she's probably, it's very risky for her; I don't know, maybe she likes risk. But what the hell is she doing, and what is the purpose of it?"

Just today, Trump was asked if he supported tax subsidies for windfarms. He said he's all for them and understands why they're needed for a struggling industry.

Then what explains Trump's outspoken Twitters in 2012 strongly criticizing windfarms, rightly complaining about their ugliness and inefficiency to the fact that they kill birds? (Never a mention of how government has zero place in meddling with the marketplace as a reason objecting to the subsidies, or that they're being pushed in the first place as a result of "global warming" nonsense) ...

He's a businessman. Read the link.

On Nov. 13 (last week), in Iowa, someone asked, "Mr. Trump: what do you think about ethanol?" His answer: "I love it, I'm for it."

And what about the concept of Obamacare, essentially the Federal government making requirements of individuals with regard to health insurance and medical care? Here he is in late September, declaring of his promise to repeal Obamacare and REPLACE it with something "really terrific" --

"This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, "No, no, the lower 25 percent that can't afford private. But .... I am going to take care of everybody. I don't care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody's going to be taken care of much better than they're taken care of now.... the government's gonna pay for it. But we're going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most it's going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything."

I hate to break it to you, nikos and all my Trump loving FRiends, but the handwriting is on the wall.

He is a moderate for all his aggressive talk and patriotism. He sees government done his way as the solution.

Cruz sees drastically reduced government as the solution. I'll go with voting for that. I'm willing to own it.

The most relevant issue in 2016 is from my post # 194.
Nothing else will matter if drastic steps are not taken by president-elect of 2016.

I watched the town hall and the rally in Iowa today online (the former from a Des Moines TV station and the latter on YouTube). Trump did say to two different questioners that he could support windmill subsidies but then went off on how expensive and uncompetitive they are and I got the impression he didn’t care for them as an energy source. So I ended up being a little confused about his actual personal position on this overall.

However, to his credit, I would like to point out that several questioners today tried to push him to promise to make the government give them things, and he refused. One man wanted him to have the government help pay for college training for needed workers in unfilled jobs. A woman wanted him to get the government to provide child care to working mothers, and there were a couple other questions like this.

On all of these, Trump stood his ground and didn’t pander to them, but talked about the problems of extra regulations and government involvement and suggested private companies like his should do more themselves (rather than the government). Eventually, during the Town Hall, Trump even said that maybe they should have gotten Bernie Sanders to speak to them instead (which I thought was pretty funny).

Can you people bring up something other than the Pam Geller thing? I think a lot of people agree with him in the sense that she did what she did to provoke. Move on, Sir.

I don’t disagree with what you say, although we are in such a mess it’s going to take some good “governing” to get us out of it. Trump, has a plan the evolves us into a different nation. You just don’t turn the keys over to the kids when their on learner permits.

I see where he’s for term limits, sending much of the issues to the states to decides, strong military and borders.

Match him with Cruz and they’ll both learn. I think if Trump were not in the race, they would have buried Cruz months ago, same as Romney did to Newt.

Trump is the bull in the china shop, but he’s not stupid.
