Democratic lawmakers are doubling down on their investigations into those who don't tow the line on global warming by demanding records from oil companies they allege are part of a conspiracy "spreading disinformation about climate science."
The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained an email from staffers of Democratic Reps. Ted Lieu of California and Rep. Peter Welch of Vermont. In the email, Lieu and Welch ask other lawmakers to sign the letter demanding records from oil companies they say are "hiding and spreading disinformation to both the public and lawmakers alike concerning the science of climate change."
"The American people deserve answers from the fossil fuel corporations about their actions to massively deceive the public in regards to climate science," wrote in their pitch to Democrats.
So far, only 18 out of the 188 Democrats in the House have signed onto the letter, including Rep. Raul Grijalva of Arizona and six others who went after scientists skeptical of man-made global warming earlier this year. Now they are going after oil companies that don't tow the line on global warming.

Are these Congressmen that stupid or do they thoroughly hate America that much? It seems the Democrats want to destroy all of the technological progress America has made since its beginnings in the eighteenth century.
How many Americans will need to be thrown into poverty or even die, before the Democrats and their crazy environmentalist supporters realize their perfect environmental utopia? How far will the developed 21st Century economies of the Western World be destroyed before their notions of climate perfection are achieved? And is the US Government under Obama gone totally insane?

Washington, DC needs to change its name to Peking or Moscow or Berlin or Rome, where they served and still serve with great honor. The muzzie that occupies the White House certainly will move to Iran when he retires. I would not be surprised that he built his prez library in Tehran.

In New York , the State Attny General is subpoeniaing oil companies for retroactive disinformation about lying about Global Warming, and looking for fines/$$$/taxation.
They want to go back some thirty years, even before the religion of Global Warming became anyone's concern.
After all , Gov. Andrew Cuomo has got to finance a new bridge to New York City , now that he has pi$$ed away the State Highway Fund !
Multi-million $$ involcved .
Maybe they should spend their time trying to find some shred of evidence supporting global warming first.
