A comment made by one of President Obama’s closest aides explains his blasé attitude toward the lives of Americans. In late 2012, Neera Tanden, who had been one of President Obama’s closest aides, observed:
Clinton, being Clinton, had plenty of advice in mind and was desperate to impart it. But for the first two years of Obama’s term, the phone calls Clinton kept expecting rarely came. “People say the reason Obama wouldn’t call Clinton is because he doesn’t like him,†observes Tanden. “The truth is, Obama doesn’t call anyone, and he’s not close to almost anyone. It’s stunning that he’s in politics, because he really doesn’t like people.

In my opinion, there is a strong possibility that America's president is a psychopath.
Nothing he says or does is in keeping with the duties and responsibilities of the office he holds. He speaks condescendingly at all times and glares malevolently at critics and criticism. He scoffs at the law, and he mocks those who reasonably request that he follow it. He lies without compunction, including directly to the families of Americans who have died in service of their country about why they died and who is responsible. He incites racial unrest, and condones Islamic terrorists.
He was never politically vetted. His transcripts remain sealed, his associations with Billie Ayers, the Rearend Wright, Tony Rezko and numerous other assorted ner-do-wells were and remain simply ignored. His regime is loaded with the corrupt and the incompetent, many condoned by Congressional approval.
Then there are those eyes. Cold, dead, reptilian. If the eyes are windows to the soul, Rspect's show only empty darkness
The "historic" presidency is in fact a great tragedy. The only unknown is the magnitude of the tragedy. A tragedy deliberately orchestrated by Barack Hussein Rspect and his handlers, the sycophant media and academia, and aided and abetted by a congress that simply refuses to do its duty and remove him from office, if not for the multiple high crimes and misdemeanors, then for reasons of mental issues making him unfit to serve.

If not a psychopath, certainly a sociopath- - - one who has no regard for other people and does not empathize with their suffering. The character traits of sociopaths are vanity, arrogance, an absolute faith in their own intelligence being greater than most other people's, and a lack of interest in the opinions of others. They can be engaging when they have to be but are most often aloof.
Seem how many of these criteria for sociopathy fit our current "commander" in chief:

(A) Pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others occurring since age 15 years, as indicated by three or more of the following:
Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest
Deception, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure
Impulsiveness or failure to plan ahead
Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults
Reckless disregard for safety of self or others
Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations
Lack of remorse as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another

Let's look back further. While in the Illinois Senate, Obama was noted for his mere 'Presence'. However, one issue was dear to his heart---the Illinois version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. He spoke vociferously against the protection of babies that survived abortion. He repeatedly voted againt such protection. He wanted those babies dead, period.
To be sure, he cloaked his murderousness in 'womens rights to decide' but he showed his bloody hand early on, but hardly anyone looked to see what a monster's paw looked like. Certainly, the Democrats did not care about it. They deliberately chose to foist this ghastly thing upon the country, keep him in place, support his every word and deed---even to the point of hailing him as a god. This is Obama.

I think the opposite. I believe he does not like himself much at all.
He had a broken early childhood abandoned by fathers, confused middle childhood into teens raised by leftist white grandparents, was abandoned by his leftist mom who then died, tried discovering himself in college, and got indoctrinated and used instead.
He then got seduced by attention and acclaim by the left, primarily for reading aloud with his good vocal cords.
But, he doesn’t know who or what HE really is. He is a tragic character in the end.
