Yeah these ‘folks’ are beginning to take this victimization thing a bit too far. It’s getting so every time I hear about one of these swastika or noose on campus incidents my immediate assumption is its another ‘African American studies’ operation. As they almost always turn out to be.
Are there any FReepers out there who are knowledgeable in criminal law? I am wondering if these BLM activists could be prosecuted under the RICO statute.

Almost every so-called “hate crime” turns out to be a hoax. Yet, the media always run with them. When it turns out to be a hoax, they just quietly drop the story. The only thing most people will remember is the media whipping everyone into hysteria over the “hate crime,” and not that it was a hoax.
Remember a few months ago when 4 small Confederate flags were found on the grounds of MLK’s church. All the hysteria whipped up by the media, then nothing. Past experience tells me that the person who found the flags is the same person who put them there.
There is no down side to this behavior, no penalty beyond a slap on the wrist. So it continues, and will continue.
According to FBI statistics blacks threatening to shoot blacks is a very valid threat.
