Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho), refused to take a question from a reporter for Breitbart on Tuesday, telling her she was not an honest reporter.
At the monthly panel "Conversations with Conservatives,â Breitbart reporter Julia Hahn asked the various members of congress assembled to raise their hands if they would be "willing to support a suspension or reduction in Muslim immigration."
Some of the lawmakers raised their hands, and as Hahn tried to ask a question of those who did not, Labrador interrupted.
"I don't answer questions from you because you are not a truthful reporter and I will not answer any of your questions. So let's move on to somebody else," Labrador said.
Hahn asked Labrador what she has reported that he found not truthful.
"We have tried, and you guys won't change your reporting, so ... We can take it up afterward. I enjoy debating," Labrador said.
Labrador walked out at one point and Hahn followed him out. They both separately returned to room after the press conference was over.
Ironically, Labrador spoke after Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va.), for whom Hahn previously served as press secretary. Hahn also worked as a producer for conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, who was a champion of Brat's candidacy and eventual defeat of former Rep. Eric Cantor.

Yellow Lab?
Raul’s going to get himself primaried. He voted for Boehner. I warned him personally.
Hey, Raul, you’re not Donald Trump.
Sounds almost like a personal dispute spilling over into their public lives.
NAIL his arse!
Sounds like we need a Labrador Retriever.
Dirty dog!
Maybe a chocolate fudge lab.
Her reporting on the House is pathetically poor. She doesn’t seem to have the knowledge of the institution to do a good job.
But that’s not being dishonest.
If the particular story Raul referenced is false, then Breitbart should fire her.
If not then Raul should apologize.
ID hasn’t successfully primaried an incumbent Republican Congressmember since 1974 (when Conservative ex-Congressman George Hansen narrowly beat liberal RINO Orval Hansen, whose son later ran in 2006 as a Democrat for the seat). RINO Rep. Mike Simpson in the 2nd needs to be primaried far worse than Labrador.
Not good odds.
Is he a retriever or a deceiver?
Labrador is mostly all right with me but he won't listen on certain critical matters and it's burned him every time. Vaughn almost got him last time. It's fine for me to talk about being primaried but there needs to be another viable candidate to pull it off. Ugh.
Almost all of them voted for Boehner.
Labrador ran against Boehner two Speaker elections ago. He should have stuck to it. Boehner promised him that they would overturn 0bamacare and he lied. He lied to all of them, but Labrador listened.
Simpson is atrocious.
Claudia Tenney rematching RINO Richard Hanna in NY
I’m shocked how long Simpson has lasted, he’ll be at 18 years at the end of his present term (not even counting his infamous prior service in the state legislature). What was the prior norm for ID House members was a high turnover in a short period of time (since they’d often move up to the Senate). You’d have to go back to Addison Smith and Burton French in the 1920s/1930 to the last time you had someone sit in a House seat as long as Simpson (and that mostly because the leftist Republican William Borah refused to leave his Senate seat and carried out feet first after 33 years in that body in 1940).
Simpson’s House predecessor, Sen. Mike Crapo, has overstayed his welcome (now with a combined 24 years in House and Senate as of next year) and badly needs to go. That might get both Simpson and Labrador out of their seats, but we definitely don’t want to risk Simpson getting it. The execrable ultraleftist Frank Church was the last one to win a 4th Senate term (he unfortunately wasn’t taken out by George Hansen in 1970 when he should’ve been).
Vaughn Ward, whom you mentioned, who was initially supposed to be the front-runner when he first ran against Labrador for the right to take on Dem fluke upset winner Walt Minnick, but that was almost 6 years ago in 2010. Labrador has had no substantial challenger since (even the well thought of challenger to Simpson in 2014 got just 38% in the GOP primary).
Richard Hanna makes Mike Simpson look like Helen Chenoweth. The question is whether Tenney can get the resources to take out Hanna this time. He has no business even serving as a Republican as far-left as he is.
