The idea is to keep Syrians in Syria.

Frankly, it's about time someone came up with an idea that could work for the refugees, and keep them off our front porch.

After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.

An honorable mention also goes out to Lassana Bathily , a Muslim immigrant from Mali.
Mr. Bathily sheltered customers at the Jewish Deli and helped police by providing info
on the terrorists, and providing the location of survivors in the deli.

I don't believe it's necessary to build and enforce a safe zone in Syria to keep Jihadis out of America. We can do that with smart immigration law.

Then, look at the perils of a "safe zone".

How do you keep bad guys from infiltrating and carrying out operations? How do you prevent Russia from striking when that "safe zone" hosts AL Nusra...or ISIS?

Does anyone remember the eventual state of the Palestinian Refugee camps?

I suggest there is a FAR better alternative: Join Russia in rebuilding the Assad regime and, perhaps, do a one-time ground operation to encircle and destroy ISIS.

Then get out when the dogs are still barking and the rubble still smolders.
