That's how Bill O'Reilly led his Fox News show last night, addressing Obama's press conference in Turkey in which the president defended his disastrously ineffective policies for dealing with the rapidly metastasizing terror army ISIS which, after last week's hellish Paris attacks, vows Washington, D.C., is next.
After the commercial break, O'Reilly started in again: "Is President Barack Obama delusional about ISIS? Joining us now from Washington, Charles Krauthammer. Is he?"
Responded Krauthammer, a Pulitzer-winning columnist and former psychiatrist: "Judging from the press conference, there are several explanations for that appalling performance; the kindest is that he’s delusional."

I think your statement is on track.
I am not sure of our leaders heritage or beliefs concerning Sunni verses Shia yet; however, one can analyze his actions and lack of actions. What I have watched and read concerning Islam implies the name Hussein is used predominately as a Shia name and not usually given to Sunni due to the Muslim leadership split hundreds of years ago. Irans leadership is mostly Shia, as is Syrias. Also, Shia believe creating more chaos and war can quicken the return of their Mahdi (Shia messiah Imam) mentioned in the Hadith, perhaps regardless of who is winning or starting the Chaos and war. So, maybe war and chaos is the goal for now and is attained by not yet winning in belief that their Mahdi will choose the winning side. Obviously, there is more to the Middle East including Turkeys newly re-elected leader wanting to unite Sunnis and Shia around a common cause as Turkeys newly re-elected leader said in a speech recently.

This may sound a little strong, but I consider those who voted for Obama a second time (2012) to be enemies of democracy, hence they're enemies of this country. I'll cut them a little slack for '08, since much of the country had Bush Derangement Syndrome and got caught up in Obama's hopey-changey schtick. But, to willingly vote for him again, AFTER seeing the havoc he was wreaking is unforgivable.
