I wish the election were tomorrow.
Will it matter if these states don’t back down? They will just import them to other willing states and the refujihadis will spread out from there to wherever they please.....
The trouble is Obama doesn’t need their permission - this is an anti-sovereignty agreement between the State Dept. and the UN that supersedes all federal immigration laws to “resettle” refugees from the worst hell holes on earth right here in River City. Also, Obama is a bald-faced liar, so anything he says to placate will be tayiyyah approved. The NGOs (Catholic, Lutheran “charities” to name the big ones) are fast at work making the big bucks and selling out the country.
Obama directly encouraged people from Central and South America to come on in, don’t worry, Mexico will let you through. He is encouraged to do the same again because there was no resistance to enrolling Illegals’ kids in school, secure housing and welfare as well, with virtually no health vetting at all. Why discriminate against the sons and daughters of Allah? That would be just mean.
Can’t wait to see how tough my governor will be when push comes to shove as he has already been seen on video pandering and encouraging more muslim immigration to our state.
It’s all about that Fundamental Transformation (one of the few truths Obama has told).
Around noon yesterday, there were only 6 states, now there are 28.
“[N]owhere in the Constitution was the national government vested with an enumerated power,” meaning spelled out, “over immigration enforcement.” Let me read that to you again: “[N]owhere in the Constitution was the national government vested with an enumerated power,” a specific power, “over immigration enforcement. Congress was empowered only to set the terms for naturalization — to determine who qualifies for American citizenship.
“The police power, the power to enforce laws within their respective territories, was left to the states — left to the representative governments closest to the people whose lives, liberties, and property were most affected by the manner of enforcement.” This is exactly the way the country was founded. The Founding Fathers went to great lengths to avoid vesting all of this power in the federal government. They didn’t trust it. The first 10 amendments to the Constitution limit the federal government. Folks, if I may...
They will hold school funding. For the chilins you know
“In the wake of the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris, and the revelation that at least two of the terrorists were Syrian refugees, the governors of Texas, Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Arkansas, Louisiana, Indiana, and even Massachusetts, have announced they will seek to bar Syrian refugee resettlement in their states. As of Monday night they were joined by the governors of over twenty states with more doubttless to come.

“Trey Gowdy’s Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and National Security is holding a hearing on the national security implications of refugee resettlement this Thursday morning at 9am. Let’s hope he displays the sanity and courage now being demonstrated by, at latest count, nine [it’s 28] state governors.”
Oh great. That always-mad Constitutional Law Lecturer is gonna call all the Governors to the principal’s office to “have a conversation”.
The gutless governors will whine like children and compromise and accept only 10,000 per state. Gone are the days of pounding on the table and taking a strong position.
They won’t. They’re republicans. Gutless Old Party.
Correct. They’d better not. And they need to get some support from the national party for a change.

They better not back down.
Looks like Alaska is open to the refugees. I can’t think of a better place to send them.
Wyoming and Montana are now in the refuse column [31]

Poor Bammy, he’s just not getting his way about anything anymore :(
Couldn’t get those judges to go his way on immigration either. Darn! it’s hard to fundamentally change America.
