Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump just put rival Ted Cruz on notice: Get too hot and I'll have to take you down.
Describing the senator from Texas as "nice and supportive," Trump told CNBC’s "Squawk Box" on Monday that the two candidates have similar ideas on many of the issues, including border security and the need for a wall to keep out illegal immigrants.
"[But] If he catches on, I guess we'll have to go to war," Trump said of Cruz, who's seen a bit of a bump nationally and in the early contest states of Iowa and New Hampshire since last week's Republican debate.

The Left hates Americans and it wants what control of our country and it knows it must destroy our freedom to get it. Cruz has been vague? And what specificity has St Donald provided...specifics mind you. (and as an FYI, “I’ll build a wall and get Mexico to pay for it” and “I’ll send them all back, that I can tell you” are NOT specifics...that’s called bloviating bullscat)
And then, once you fail to answer that question, answer this: what specifically has he espoused that has a snowballs chance in hell of actually getting through Congress. Because surely you’re a Constitutional Conservative, right? Surely you don’t want to just change the current dictator for a new one that says he agrees with you, right?

You are wrong on your logic there. Once we get into a two person race, name recognition won’t be an issue. It will come down to strategy and the ability to frame the issues. Cruz is a master in both of these areas. I think “likability” will have an impact as well and this is one area Cruz isn’t as good as a Rubio, Carson, Trump or Obama. Fortunately, Hillary’s likability is terrible so it shouldn’t be a problem.

I would vote for Cruz, Trump, Carson or Paul and none of the others. If Rubio or any of the others get the nomination I won't vote for them. I am done drinking Dem Light.
Thats my conundrum. I’d rather have Cruz than Trump as President. But I’d rather have Cruz spending the next 35-40 years on the Supreme Court than 8 in the White House.

And today Trump has said that he wants Cruz for his VP. Trump clearly sees Cruz as a threat.Trump says that Cruz agrees with him 100%. So my point is supported. Cruz is a better candidate than Trump in the long run. Cruz mirrors Trump without the baggage that Trump carries. And Cruz is a better debater.
