Donald Trump said Monday he is capable of turning on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in their competition for the GOPâs 2016 presidential nomination.
âIf he catches on, I guess weâll have to go to war,â he told host Joe Kernen on CNBCâs âSquawk Box.â âWeâll see what happens but so far we havenât,â Trump continued. "Heâs been very supportive [and] we have a lot of the same ideas.
âWell, heâs been very nice and supportive of everything Iâve said, more than anybody else.â

You have a marvelous point that is well taken. I think the Cruzers are excited by Cruz moving at all and making it a contest. And, Cruz has a challenger. His name is TRUMP.
They need to have a target, and Trump at 42% in Reuters poll, is “it”. Cool.
Cruz..will eat his lunch.
When Cruz is president, the corker provisions will quickly enable the kill of the Iran deal.
Really? Then why even vote for it in the first place? As it stands now, the Iran deal has the full Constitutional backing of the Congress. If it were me, low info reactor, I would never have voted for TPA or the corker bill.
You are exactly right...He’s a politican first..and always. The “pledges” to reform/cancel this or that made as a candidate, (yawn)..are quickly forgotten once elected...Give us a Patriot..not another Politician.
Trump won’t need to go to war with Cruz.
I am not a Carson fan.
“BTW, you want to give us some examples of Cruz supporters, including me, calling you a âhorrible person?â There must be plenty of them, so lay them all out. Thanks.”
I am not about to revisit all of that. There are some few Cruz supporters who remind me of happening upon a venomous snake with an attitude. I am not above getting a bit nasty myself when I am attacked. I am not offended if someone supports Cruz; we are all entitled to a favorite. As I have noticed some other posters observe: Cruz is not vicious but some of his supporters here are.
I thought I was being communicative, and not arrogant, and that other four syllable word you used.
You ought to see me when I’m mad. I’m not mad. And you ARE sensitive aren’t you. Harrumphing that Trump and Cruz might have to mix it up a little. I mean, LOL!!
“What do you expect him to say - gosh, lemme move over for Ted?”
VERY TRUE. And had he done the above, we’d still be looking at Carla’s face and there would likely be a forensics team on their way to Egyptian Pyramids, as I type.
And tough talk from Trump on illegal immigration when it was only three years ago that Trump called Mitt's self-deportation plan, "mean spirited".
If Trump’s wife was on the CFR, I’m sure you’d stay quiet on it and distract us from that.
Okay, so in post #97 you said “plenty” of Cruz supporters called you a “terrible person.” Now you’re backpedaling...a “few” make you think of something, but you can’t come up with any proof to support your original accusation.
Just as I thought, you’re lying.
Dismissed.
BB I hate to break it to you but we’re in the primary season right now. Just how do you propose we select our candidate? Draw straws? There’s time to go after the RAT candidate when we’ve selected our guy and the RATs have selected theirs. Actually, this time, whom we choose is a whole lot more important than it’s been in the past. It’s not Hebbie’s turn, and this time events have given us a chance to pick a real candidate for a change.
And yet he takes their money and supports their globalist agenda...go figure.
Yeah. Like Oprah. *snicker* He’s a real genius, that one.
Holy smokes.
Trump is a patriotic celebrity billionaire real estate mogul who self-promoted himself to fame through self-promotion in PR, TV, and showmanship. For 21 of the past 26 years, he donated equally to Democrats as to Republicans, a little more in fact to Democrats. He became successful in business by being apolitical, without reference to politics.
Cruz is a Constitutional conservative and politician who has made a lifelong study of the Constitution. No one "runs" America; its government is supposed to be OUR servant. You're talking about getting a smart flamboyant businessman to run American government.
Bad idea.
What the hell are you talking about? You are very badly mistaken, dear.
Way back on Sept. 24 "Teddy" was doing more than talking -- he was actively urging Homeland Security and Congress to do something about it.
Sorry to burst your bubble.
