I don’t think this exposes him as liberal, just ignorant and living in a medical expert bubble.

I have talked with brilliant doctors who refused to believe plain facts and clear evidence when alternatives to mainstream medicine healed people, even including chiropractic medicine.

Carson does not have all the facts here. But as someone seeking to lead the free world, he should have a better command of them.

I have followed and liked Carson as a possible outside candidate from the time he first publicly rebuked the president. However, this is just one more in a long string of disappointments.

I could still hold my nose and vote for Carson if he emerged as the GOP nominee, but he is not my first choice.

Cruz is the most consistent conservative. He is my first choice.

Among the outsiders who at least talk conservatively, Trump has the best shot at winning. So I am hoping like many here for a Trump / Cruz ticket.

Ugh, I hadn't seen that part of his statement - that makes it even worse. One argument that the pro-murder side made in the Schiavo case was that starving and dehydrating Terri would cause no harm, because her brain was so damaged that she would feel no pain due to the starvation and dehydration.

But here, Carson is admitting that the doctor's job is to keep the patient comfortable--which necessarily means that the patient is capable of NOT being comfortable (i.e., is capable of pain)--and yet he's STILL calling it no big deal.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Forget this guy...
