Heads up America, Syrian refugees have arrived and they are here to stay.
Your State Department funds are being well invested in one-way tickets for Syrian refugees to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Former FBI Special Agent-In-Charge Jim Bernazzani gave his opinion on the matter. "If I was in charge of ISIL, logistically I'd take advantage of this situation and put my people in, into the United States," he said.
Governor Bobby Jindal expressed his concerns to the president by writing a letter to the executive office. "As with former immigration crises and federal relocation policy, Louisiana has been kept in the dark about those seeking refuge in the state and it is irresponsible and severely disconcerting to place individuals, who may have ties to ISIS, in a state without the state's knowledge or involvement," he wrote.
With the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, maybe we should rethink our strategy of bringing Syrians to America and decide whether or not it puts American lives at a risk.

So, when did you turn so rude? Wow.
Have a great day.
Like I said, have a great day, Matt.
Then you must have a plan?
You too. I just believe in fighting to win, not to win debating society points.
Some of the ones I have seen on here can be found with their original links via google image search using “syrian refugees.”
I am pretty confident that any such photographs of refugees coming into New Orleans would be covered by local news in New Orleans as well as national networks - especially given the situation in Paris.
I believe we should stop all immigration in the U.S. until we figure things out. However, we should recognize that not all the refugees from Syria are Muslims. There are supposedly a good number of Christian refugees among them as well as many Muslims who were also being slaughtered by ISIS due to a different brand. Who can really know who/what is coming and that is why we should stop it all immediately.
The Syrian refugee crisis is bad (thanks in large part to Obama and his Arab Spring), but even Grahamnesty had it right today on one thing - the sensible thing to do would be to carve out a safe haven in Syria to house them until things get figured out. That is the only sensible temporary solution until Syria stabilizes. It is NOT sensible to import them to Western nations for a whole host of reasons.
In my mind it makes us look stupid when it is a few families that came to New Orleans (38 people I think?) the other day, and then show photos of a hundred muslim men. Stupid and unbelievable and portrays us as idiots. (Or worse - “10,000 refugees landed in New Orleans!”)
Better would be “In Europe, they started off with a few ‘refugee families’. In six months this is where they were! These military-aged men are NOT refugees!”
I would like some more details on these first few families. Are they really families, or is it all military-aged guys that are cousins and uncles. Are they Christian or other non-muslims? (I suppose that would be too much to wish for).
But yes - these masses of people need to be dealt with in their own region.
So it’s not the same guy? All you had to do is say so. :-)
If you ever run across something like that dealing with the Syrian “refugees” that isn’t photoshopped, do me a favor and ping me. It’s for a good cause.
“...but even Grahamnesty had it right today on one thing - the sensible thing to do would be to carve out a safe haven in Syria to house them until things get figured out. “
Trump said that months ago. Ha. So now Graham is stealing it, I guess. Did he give Trump credit for the idea?
Never mind. I already know the answer to that.
Am I missing something?
Not a Grahamnesty fan, but I heard his comments via a CNN news feed. Trump has scored as close to 100% on immigration as he could have in my opinion and that is why he is in the lead. There have been several people who said this including many talking heads here and in Europe - it’s just plain common sense. Immigration was the issue even prior to the Paris attacks and it won’t go away because ISIS seems hell-bent in pissing off the whole world.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal has told the White House he wants to know how many Syrian refugees have been placed in Louisiana. The letter released Saturday says he wants that and other information “in hopes that the night of horror in Paris is not duplicated here.”
Jindal sent his letter a day after the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for attacks that killed 129 people and wounded 350 in Paris.
The State Department tells WWL-TV (http://bit.ly/1PuLFY6 ) that 14 Syrians have been resettled in Louisiana: one in Baton Rouge and the rest in New Orleans and suburban Kenner.
14, NOT 10,000

Maybe Aljazerra. Guessing of course. I mean who else could have had that close access.
Check out Catholic Charities resettlement New Orleans.
Apparently you are correct, but more are coming and we need to follow Catholic Charities involvement in accepting the influx. They do have government subsidies to cover the hospitality and the J-O-B finding for these “guests”.
This is a source worth following since the administration is not averse to hiding the influx. The media is all about crickets, unless hopefully their is a coming backlash against resettlement among the Marxist Democrats themselves.
They look like the walking dead
That’s a good guess and would make sense. But I’m pretty sure it’s a doctored photo or conservative media/blogs would be all over it.
Actually, I DO.
I’m thinking we should raise a little hell where it might start to count. Phone our congressional & senate district offices and raise HELL about this resettlement business. Threaten their damn re-election plans if they don’t pass along some of the same HELL NO to the entire congress. Hit the state capitols if we live there, maybe even if we don’t, but CALL GOVERNOR’S offices to stop state acceptance and harangue local editorials with opposition letters.
Even retirees can do these things. The Tea Party needs to come alive also, march on DC, and state capitols and publicize protests.
The usual limp wristed stuff is far better than this endless whining and discussion, alone. And I know you agree.
Start tomorrow!
I have no clue that it looks doctored. It looked pristine to me, but what do I know. Also it appeared to be taken in a desolate city.
