Clemons: French Officials Criticizing ‘Absence of US Leadership’ Against Terror [VIDEO]
BREITBART ^ | 14 Nov 2015 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 11/15/2015 2:59:28 PM PST by UMCRevMom@aol.com

Steve Clemons stated French officials he had talked with criticized lack of US support against fighting terrorism, "ISIS has been incubated for two years with absence of US leadership, and that the United States needs to take the security of its allies more seriously."

Responding to a question about conversations "some French officials here in the US expressing frustration about lack of support from the US, in terms of France's ability to fight this jihad" Clemons said, “Well, the discussion I — was with French officials in Paris communicating this, and in doing so, on a background basis, and personal basis, saying that one of the things that they’re facing is why did this happen, why did this happen?

I got an email this morning saying our proximity to Syria and all things Syria is profound and big, but the bigger part is that, for a variety of reasons, directly and indirectly, ISIS has been incubated for two years with an absence of US leadership, and that the United States needs to take the security of its allies more seriously, and it was a direct implication that we had not done and acted in a way to take action…very clearly I sensed in these emails and the exchanges, frustration, tenseness, but also confidence.

He said, we will prevail in this, but there was a real frustration and tenseness over that. And a frustration that — not only about what was happening and unfolding on the streets of Paris, but how it had been able to metastasize and grow over the last two years.”

“We may see within the next 24 hours focus on Article 5 of NATO, whether there will be a collective security commitment, compelling us to move forward with a more muscular approach than we've given thus far.”

OK lets start with France's lukewarm assistance in fighting muzzies up to now.

They have the highest percentage of muzzies in their population of any european country and each summer for the past several years, their streets have been taken over by muzzie rioters.

Many Paris neighborhoods have been rumored to be taken over by muzzies who imposed sharia law. This they deny but others who live there say there is truth to the rumors..

French writers originated the theories of "false flag" propaganda against the US regarding the 9-11 attacks.

Doesn't sound like they did much in any leadership role.

In other words, the French - like everyone else - are sick and tired of Obama making excuses for, then aiding and abetting, terrorists.

The only thing to do is what is right, regardless of world opinion.

And the obvious right thing to do is...?

You are on your own France. We got enough cemeteries over there bailing out you cowards.

As if we don't have a national interest in defeating ISIS?

So are the French now going to refer to American Cheese as “Freedom” Cheese?

French citizens aren't even allowed to protect themselves. It sounds like they are begging to us to fight their war, again. Do a search on American Cemeteries in France.

BTW, the French lost 88 people in Afghanistan. We lost almost 3000. Apparently they are not serious about fighting a war to help us.

Seriously? You're lecturing me to do a search on American Cemeteries in France? As if I wasn't aware and as if my family didn't make sacrafices liberating Europe in WWII?

Have a little more respect for a fellow Freeper.

And you're missing my point. Forget France. ISIS is threatening the US. We have a national interest in defeating ISIS.

Look. I don’t care about White Flag France. They wouldn’t even allow Reagan airspace to bomb Libya. Bsstards.

I agree with all that!

My point is that ISIS is threatening us. We need to lead to take out ISIS because they are threatening us.

Don't you agree?

As long as we don’t spell blood for France again, yes. That was the point I was making from the very beginning.

Correct me if I’m wrong but weren’t the French in on the negotiations with Iran? In fact, weren’t they doing business with Iran while they were under sanctions?

I agree we need leaders. But you have leaders. Get them to lead!

We are fast approaching a situation where the fight is not going to be nation states- but all out civil wars. The Christians against the muslims- whether you are French German, Amrican or some other nationality will matter less than if you are Christian or muslim.
