Assuming your goal is salvation and not being thrown into Sheol or the Lake of Fire, assuming that Hell exists (and I believe it does, because we are not in charge, and God has been good enough to preserve our Judeo-Christian understanding of salvation/damnation through wars and strife over 5,000 years), let me point out that if salvation were a distant city, you could take a bus, you could take a train, or you could take a plane. But you can't take a bus, a train and a plane all at the same time. It is not enough to study a religion; one must live it with commitment even to begin to understand it.
You know what is most important, regardless of which religion? Try to leave this world a better place than when you arrived. Non-violence to other human beings should be the top priority. I like and admire all religions which do NOT commit violence to others in the name of religion. Faith is a very personal matter, and we all share so many common goals. Let religion NOT divide us.
