I have no idea what Germany’s election rules are, but they need to act quickly if at all possible to replace Merkle. I think she served her country well for a number of years, but she’s literally not a competent person now. I don’t know if she’s aging or been compromised, but her public statements in the past month or two have been among the most idiotic out of a world leader. And that’s saying a lot in the world of incompetents like Obama, Trudeau and other socialist cults of personality.
It makes sense, though it is certainly in error, that so many of these Western ‘leaders’ (cough cough) believe that through being nice, loving, cuddling, and singing Kumbya to jihadists and other muhamedans (apostates who don’t follow MadMo’s teachings words for word), they can ‘bring them around’ to ‘their’ (that is, the socialists) way of thinking. They have turned from God, and so, are blinded by the ‘prince of the air’, satan.
The majority of people in what was once known as ‘Christendom’, have turned from God. Since they have no anchor, they are easily led astray by satan, believing some teachings from the Bible, those they like, the cuddly and squishy teachings, while ignoring God and His Justice.
Given that by their very nature, politicians are at least partially about ‘pride of self’. For example, what politician believes that someone else can do a better job than they, themselves? PRIDE! What easier target is there for a sly serpent with millenia of experience in deception, than a politician?
Does Obama demonstrate ‘pride of self’? How about HRC? As much as I hate to say it, what about Donald Trump?

James 4:6 (NIV) states, referencing Prov 3:34, ‘But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
