And, I’d like to know what provoked Dr. Ben to try to do a hammer-time on his mother and attempt a slash jog on his friend. Premeditated attacks or spontaneous? What was the trigger?

IIRC, the hammer thing was over what clothes he would wear...

The knife thing was over bullying...But his mom named Ben as being the bully...and momma told him that's not nice.
