Police officials in France say there has been an explosion in a bar near a Paris stadium and a shootout in a Paris restaurant.

Yaelle....this resembles very much how they've attacked Israel in the past. Lots of carnage and suicide bombers. Remarkably also is just what we're seeing here is exactly why police are being militarized. I just listened to Obama’s statement via Facebook. He sounded drugged. He could hardly string a sentence together. It was weird and yet revealing.

Ordinarily he is totally scripted and I now see why.

If you get a chance listen to it. At the end of the statement he resorted to comparing the Paris thing to stuff that’s happened here. He only just stopped short of gun control.
