Fox Business channel host Neil Cavuto challenged college student Keely Mullen, an organizer for the “Million Student March,†leaving her at a loss for words on how to explain paying for a plethora of “free†programs.
Calling it an “equitable and fair system,†Mullen listed the group’s grievances with the education system in America, stating:
“So the three core demands of the national day of action are free public college, a cancellation of student debt, and a 15 dollar an hour minimum wage — um — for people who work on the campus.†Cavuto then pressed the panhandling millennial, asking her “how’s that gonna be paid?†After a moment of dead air time, Mullen responded, saying:
“Um, great question. I mean, you know — so, I’m not sure if you’re talking about like on a national level or particular schools. I can sort of touch on both.†Cavuto interjected, asking her who would “pick up the tab†for all of her free demands. She insisted “the one percent†should foot the bill.
The conversation only got more tense from there. When Mullen told Cavuto that wealthy Americans should pay 90% of their income in taxes, he suggested that could result in drastic changes for the American economy:
“Let’s say you tax them — they’re smart folks these people — these one percent hoarders right? So they leave here, then who’s gonna pay for all this stuff that you want?†Mullen, left in disbelief that top-earning individuals would move their resources outside the U.S. under the burden of a 90% income tax rate, said:
“I mean there’s always gonna be a one percent in the U.S. As she put it, the U.S. is a “bastion of um — um of capitalism and success.â€
Indeed.
The main problem with these students are that they need a remdial lesson in English. They don’t understand the meaning of the word free. They don’t want “free” education. They merely want someone else to pay for their education. At least when I was growing up, the nitwits on college campuses were protesting no nukes and feed the world. At least my generation of nitwits were idiots while appearing to be caring for others. Today’s nitwits on college campuses are self centered and care nothing except for themselves.

However, in the interview, she clearly states her parents "are on multiple government programs". One is not correct.
We used to say people like her were “lost in the O-zone”.
They should at least apologize. Sometimes, there’s no convincing them.

I watched this exchange. Keeley Mullen’s parents should demand a refund from her college, because she is a blithering idiot.
She won’t get it. She can’t get it. She’ll call Cavuto a mean man and stick that proggy lower lip way out. Woe to the man in her life. Run!
My brother works at Y-12 and other facilities in Oak Ridge, TN and some of the people he works with have spouted the same idiocy this twit did in her interview. Frightening to think people this dumb in their positions.
Translation:
College should be free and someone else should pay for it.
The Someone else is irrelevant to the argument. It’s that nameless faceless greedy rich thing that exists out there to stifle our lives.
In 1930’s Germany, they called it The Jews and you saw what happened to them.
You can have a million dollar home and still qualify for financial aid. If you own your own business you draw a very low salary the year before college begins and instant pell grant for your kid. Rich liberals don’t pay taxes or for education.
Yes, I think the Amish were onto something with their “shunning” tactics. Should apply to her parents.
It is not a matter of math. It is basic morality. Envy and theft are wrong. This country ditched God so this is the inevitable result. Thieves are not concerned about math.
