Fox Business channel host Neil Cavuto challenged college student Keely Mullen, an organizer for the “Million Student March,†leaving her at a loss for words on how to explain paying for a plethora of “free†programs.
Calling it an “equitable and fair system,†Mullen listed the group’s grievances with the education system in America, stating:
“So the three core demands of the national day of action are free public college, a cancellation of student debt, and a 15 dollar an hour minimum wage — um — for people who work on the campus.†Cavuto then pressed the panhandling millennial, asking her “how’s that gonna be paid?†After a moment of dead air time, Mullen responded, saying:
“Um, great question. I mean, you know — so, I’m not sure if you’re talking about like on a national level or particular schools. I can sort of touch on both.†Cavuto interjected, asking her who would “pick up the tab†for all of her free demands. She insisted “the one percent†should foot the bill.
The conversation only got more tense from there. When Mullen told Cavuto that wealthy Americans should pay 90% of their income in taxes, he suggested that could result in drastic changes for the American economy:
“Let’s say you tax them — they’re smart folks these people — these one percent hoarders right? So they leave here, then who’s gonna pay for all this stuff that you want?†Mullen, left in disbelief that top-earning individuals would move their resources outside the U.S. under the burden of a 90% income tax rate, said:
“I mean there’s always gonna be a one percent in the U.S. As she put it, the U.S. is a “bastion of um — um of capitalism and success.â€
Indeed.
I heard this chicklet last night on the redeye radio program, and she is good old fashioned stupid. Not ignorant, which can be fixed, but just plain irreparable stupid.
Perhaps these nitwits don’t realize that in countries that do provide free university educations, they are provided only to students who pass rigorous entrance exams, which is why the system works.
Then what? You've taxed the rich, they're now poor. The original poor have eaten, but they're hungry again, along with the newly poor who used to be rich. What are you going to do now?
When “The Great ObamaNation” gets through with our economy these freeloaders are going to have to grow up quick or starve to death in a ditch.

When I was young (circa 1959-60) my Dad once told me that he wasn’t taking any more work for his engineering business that year. When I asked why, he said, “Why should I work any more this year when the govt will take 91% of what I make?”

After having watched Neil Cavuto’s interview with Keely, it’s readily apparent that a “free education” would be wasted on the young lady.
Sophomore when translated from Greek literally means sophos, wise, and mÅros, stupid.
What a spokeswoman! Seems most of her statements rather than being declarative sentences are questions (up talking)....to say nothing of her content.
Especially since she mentioned her parents were on government subsidies.
The worst part about this is that her friends and peers are congratulating her right now! I sincerely hope that she practices birth control for the rest of her life!

In this analysis we have simulated the effects of increasing the top income tax rate under three possible reforms: (a) raise the top individual income tax rate from 39.6 to 45 percent; (2) raise the top individual income tax rate from 39.6 to 50 percent; and (3) raise the top individual income tax rate to 50 percent for income greater than $1 million for joint filers, $750,000 for single filers. We calculate the resulting change in income inequality under these scenarios assuming an explicit redistribution of all new revenue to households in the bottom 20 percent of the income distribution. The resulting effects on overall income inequality are exceedingly modest, with changes in the Gini coefficient of less than 0.01.

Business is good enough that he has a million dollar home and was able to send her to private school at the Francis W. Parker school for $35k a year. She now goes to Northwestern where she is a Political Science/Sociology major.
After her brush with fame, she’ll go to work for daddy but the business will certainly collapse once he’s gone.
I’m starting to think that red states should start defunding all state colleges and universities. Let them be on their own like Hillsdale, no aid, no restrictions. Consumers can go where they want. Libs can donate so all colleges are free. Parents who want a conservative or traditional college can pick one and support it. Let them build up their own endowments if they are so right about their direction and they can make it free by themselves.
Yes, as we agreed yesterday, the parents of all these leftists need to be questioned and asked if they are proud of their children. Ask them where the kids learned all this bilge.
We had a guy work with us that was THAT dumb. He got stopped by a cop for speeding in Oklahoma. When the cop came up to his window he saw the dummy had a sawed off shotgun in the passenger’s seat, backed away and called backup.
Then they had the dummy get out of the car, spred eagled him, examined the gun, took out the buckshot loads and left him the empty gun.
Then the cop told him this.
“You are the dumbest person I have ever seen! Your are so dumb I’m not even going to give you a ticket! Don’t ever drive through here again at that speed and don’t have that shotgun with you as you are too dumb to use it!” He then let the dummy go.
How dumb was this guy? He came to the plant and told us every word of what happened! We already knew he was dumb as a post.
