Donald Trump is going all in with the Friday the 13th motif in attacking Ben Carson.
In a video posted to Instagram, spooky, suspenseful music plays as footage of Carson speaks about past claim of physical violence, one that he attributed to his "pathological temperament" in his book "Gifted Hands."
"I had a large camping knife, and I tried to stab him in the abdomen," a younger Carson says in the video, before a clip of CNN's report last week shows a man who appeared to question Carson's autobiographical account.
"What?" the former neighbor tells CNN in the video, who says "no" with a shake of the head when asked if it fits with the person he knew.

Seems to me the battle lines have been drawn. Evangelicals, who wanted the nice Christian guy, gave us Obama via McLame and Mittens. Time to take things a whole lot more serious because it is obvious our country is going down. Clueless, no experience, bad policies and nice isn’t going to right our country. Carson voters need to wake up and help put a fighter, WHO GETS THINGS DONE, in the White House. Trump is that man.
GOP and stupid voters better get a clue.
Well said.
in My studies they were “sociopathic” liars. They are psychotic at the low end because, as you say, they believe their fantasies. They also have no conscience or remorse . It is absolutely incurable and many go to prison for fraud. This disease is not a defense but may mitigate at sentencing but usually not. In the Video that Trump put out today ,if you watch Carson ,he seems to smile when talking about the attack on a man with his knife. My analysis is that he also suffers fro Schadenfreude symptoms ( joy in seeing others suffer) but just a guess at to why it would be funny to stab another in their “abdomen”. That person has never been found. I would sure remember that. Wouldn’t you?
I find this foolish and poor strategy. I think it will tend to turn off more voters than gain new ones. Trump doesn’t need to do this, IMO.
This tirade by Trump will not help him.
Trump shows he doesn’t understand being born again in Christ, but then, as he is someone who attends a PCUSA church, his minister supports gay marriage as being of Christ. Of course, even Trump’s VOWS mean nothing to Trump, Ben could honestly say.
Additionally, you don’t attack supporters of someone who would endorse you once you win. Trump hasn’t called believers of Jeb’s to be idiots, but he has those of Carson’s.
This will not help Trump, and I am a Trump supporter.
Trump is brilliant. He knows political ads must be targeted at the low information voters - this will work with them.
You are right Trump does not need to do this. He does it because he likes it. Any adversary of his who happens to be less wealthy and less powerful has gotten this treatment. Folks with power who stood up to him simply saw Trump slip quietly away. He had run ins with Giuliani and both Cuomos and shut his mouth and walked away. He hit a real nerve with immigration and that is important, but he is a despicable human being whose lifetime goal has been the deification of all things Trump. This could be the first presidential election where I don’t vote. I cannot vote for Trump, I won’t vote for Bush , I am uneasy with voting for a senator and I see Clinton as evil. Guess I will do what many Freepers did in ‘08 & ‘12 and skip line one.
Anyone so accused, and they knew it wasn't true, would be DEMANDING a DNA test, and the sooner, the better.
You are a libtard.
I don’t agree with you on his motivation behind this attack. Trump is a fighter. I just don’t think he needs to take this approach with Carson. BUt what do I know? I’m not running for president.
Try engaging in civilized argument rather than childish name calling. Responses like yours are worthy of the Yale student body.
Trump donated to Harry Reid, Clinton, Kerry, Rangel, Schumer, and "the swimmer" Kennedy, among others! Out of $1.3 million donated, for every $46 dollars of his hard-earned money that went to Republicans, $54 went to Democrats.
Who's the "libtard," again?
