Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who received widespread praise for his Tuesday debate performance in which he slammed the media for its biased coverage of immigration, continued his verbal broadside against pro-amnesty special interests on today's program of the Laura Ingraham Show.
In perhaps his most detailed comments to date criticizing donor-class favorite Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Ted Cruz gave a crushing assessment of Rubio's involvement in co-authoring the La Raza-backed Gang of Eight bill. Cruz outlined Rubio's coordinated effort with Chuck Schumer to sabotage conservative efforts to add popular amendments to the Obama-championed measure:

Cruz told Ingraham that while the American people expressed their vociferous opposition to Rubio's immigration bill, Rubio ignored their concerns and fought "tooth and nail" to push amnesty and immigration expansions upon the unwilling electorate. Cruz explained that even though "The American people quite reasonably said, 'No" to the Gang of Eight's plan, Rubio and his fellow Gang of Eight colleagues continued to push the amnesty bill through Congress:

I will be happy if this destroys Rubio.
Rubio is never present to vote when the Senate votes. Why are not the people of Florida concerned that their Senator is not doing what he was elected to do but campaigns more for himself than he does for them? Immigration should be legal immigration, not amnesty. Guest Visas H1B - close the door on them. Look at the colleges and universities around the country, the youth are graduating with no job prospects and yet guest workers are given the opportunity for employment prior to Joe, Jack, Rob, Jane, Mary or et al. Even Disneyworld/Disneyland and places like the Wisconsin Dells waterparks hire guest workers over American citizens!
I never saw that photo before. So telling...
I agree.
Jamnesty and its open borders brother exist as far as the eye can see. Brought to us by the criminals in D.C., the gang of 535.
ZERO representation.
This, too -
A picture says a thousand words!
Marco thinks he is Polo but when he gets shoved out the door during the primaries and since he is not running for his senate seat again he will be unemployed with no job prospects. His last name will then be Peon.
He's no T.E.A. Party Conservative, RINO in training.
Cruz has said he and Jeff Sessions tried attaching various amendments to the Gang of 8 bill to attempt to "improve it" but also to make it ironclad to everyone paying attention, just what the Gang of 8 wanted: to make instant citizens (and voters) of all illegal aliens in this country!
Cruz has supported an increase in H-1B visas along with legalization.
Besides barring citizenship while instituting some level of legalization for those here already, Mr. Cruz has proposed increasing the number of green cards awarded annually, to 1.35 million from 675,000. He also wants to eliminate the per-country limit that he said left applicants from countries like Mexico, China and India hamstrung when they tried to gain legal entry to this country.
.
Cruz + some real conservative, no re-born fakes needed.
.
Still trolling I see.
.
Trump is definitely not against this crap.
His basic proposal is to send them out, and then kiss their touches as they return to their “path to citizenship” shortly thereafter.

>> âYou know, the truth is I have a lot of illegals working for me in Miami,â he told them, using the term for undocumented immigrants those in the meeting found offensive. âYou know in Miami, my golf course is tended by all these Hispanics â if it wasnât for them my lawn wouldnât be the lawn it is; itâs the best lawn,â <<
This is the real Trump in every way.
Two years ago Trump knew very little about the issue as the article clearly shows. He has learned a lot since then.
Frankly, I'm glad they're both saying what they're saying about illegals, but don't pretend one can change while the other can't.
“So you forgive Trump for changing, but not Cruz?
Frankly, I’m glad they’re both saying what they’re saying about illegals, but don’t pretend one can change while the other can’t.”
The difference between the two is that Trump was working as a businessman who hires Hispanics and was not at the time a politician who was steeped in the issues. He figure it out, and saw the light and now knows the issues only too well.
Rubio IS and has been a politician for years, concentrating and working on such issues as immigration. Rubio has no excuse for ignorance of the issues. None at all.
