Donald Trump was in Iowa tonight and gave a speech to thousands of supporters in Fort Dodge. He blasted all of his opponents, especially Ben Carson, who he repeatedly mocked and spoke about for 9 minutes.
He even does a little stabbing scene before asking what the hell is wrong with Iowa that Ben Carson is so close to him in the polls.

Cruz has proven he has more guts than anybody. He didn’t get Congress to hate him by accident. He didn’t care what they said about him. He took out the establishment’s pick in the Texas primary and called out his own party for their backroom dealings and misleading the voters with show votes. If that’s not guts in terms of politics, I don’t know what is. Trump’s “courage” was in donating to both parties so everyone would owe him something. Not the same thing and not very applicable to being President.
When it comes for Cruz to make good on the promises he made in the campaign, there is no way a Republican Congress can defy him. If you think the Republicans are going to refuse to repeal Obamacare when their own President wants it repealed, you’re crazy. Or refuse to enforce the border and deport illegals. They would be thrown out of office in short order. Winning and defeating Hillary is all the mandate anyone needs even if it’s by 1 vote.
No one is an expert predictor on how the election will turn out next year. You can speculate all you want but those aren’t facts. My prediction is Hillary loses no matter who we nominate. The media and the RINO establishment thinks she’s the hottest thing since sliced bread but anyone close to the grass roots of this country knows she’s a dog.

Just to be clear - I am an old school TRADITIONAL Catholic. I despise the post Vatican II “new church” and the effeminate Marxist sodomites that have all but destroyed the Church. This SINod against the family was the last straw. We need a Saint Pope Pius V or Saint Pope Pius X, or a Pope Leo XIII to banish the wolves! But, what we got is this Argentinian Peronista Socialist materialist - “Francis” and his faggoty brand of “mercy” - Makes me want to puke.
In reality Hillary isn't running against anyone on the Democrat side....Saunders is simply there to take up the space she doesn't have the physical stamina to do herself. He'll bow at when the time comes. And Mark was just thrown in for good measure.
Cruz is unmistakeably the best out of any to go up against her.....and for me who this country needs as our next President.
Well then, sweetie - vote for whomever your favorite establishment pick may end up being chosen for you - and you can have all “lollipops and puppies” too.

It won’t be close in Iowa. Trump will take Iowa likely fairly easy.
Cruz is a very good candidate. He is mostly correct on the issues. He defends the constitution and speaks from the framework of that document. But, alas, this go around he is not electable. He would rip Hillary to shreds in a debate. But he is not electable. On the republican side, voters are looking for a killer. They see that in Trump, whether deserved or not. Trump carries himself as the winner. He toys with the audience. He gives rambling speeches and tells stories like my wife. Eventually he gets to the point, but it takes a while. He has the swagger. America wants swagger.
And Trump is a master manipulator. He will catch hell for the next few days over his Carson comments, but they won’t sink him. What it will do is cause folks to take just a little closer look at Carson and think...”you know, he does look a little pathological. Look how he never opens his eyes...He must be hiding something....”
Trump just delivered the Kill-Shot at Carson. Trump is playing to win. He said it tonight. He’s not a nice guy. Vote for him, he will fix it and later, in 20 years, after everything been screwed up by voting for nice guys, you will have to elect someone else like him to clean it all up again.
I am a Trump supporter and cringed when I first heard the Carson comments. Wife thought that he didn’t have to go there. But there, he did go...So he gives a Mea Culpa on Sunday and says “Eh?! maybe I was a little too harsh...Ben’s a nice guy....But you know, I just wonder...”
During tonight’s speech he also ripped Rubio a new one. He premised the whole thing by asking the audience if he should talk about the other candidates. They yelled their approval, they wanted meat...Trump gave it in spades. He didn’t bother with Kasich, or Paul or Yeb! Those characters are already down the rat hole. No, Trump went after his two biggest opponents. He did a little on policy differences with Rubio, calling him the gang of eight saying he’s a little baby on immigration...but he saved his ammunition for Carson.
This won’t knock Trump...those that were turned off by him are still turned off. He’s playing the numbers right now and with the days counting down to the first votes he is launching the attacks to knock out the competition.
How many people were in the Hall and the adjoining hall? Ten thousand Plus? How many folks filled out the cards with their information? How many caucus goers were tagged tonight? How well will Trump’s ground game crew marshal those attending tonight to stand for Trump come February. Enough to win the caucus I think.
Oh, and he hit Hillary hard too, saying the only thing she has going for her is the woman card...that the entire Mid-East is in flames because of her.
Strange there is nothing on AOL Huff n Puff about this - yet.
The “ugly” thing is a life-long battle with a speech impediment. That is why his speech is so controlled and slow.
