Donald Trump was in Iowa tonight and gave a speech to thousands of supporters in Fort Dodge. He blasted all of his opponents, especially Ben Carson, who he repeatedly mocked and spoke about for 9 minutes.
He even does a little stabbing scene before asking what the hell is wrong with Iowa that Ben Carson is so close to him in the polls.

And just what kind of a temperament does a president who has to deal with a world on fire, high debt, high unemployment, people losing their health care - skyrocketing premiums and deductibles, and the list goes on. Just what kind of a mealy mouthed, noodles for a spine, person can deal with the mess obame and to some extent - Bush have put us in. This isn’t time for lollipops and puppies.
You are utterly benighted and clueless !
LOL! I get that, alright. Talk about slow on the uptake when a train is coming....
I’m a very strong Trump supporter and I think he needs to get some rest. Donald went a little over the top tonight. It appeared to me that he’s getting so worked up that he’s beginning to act irrationally. He needs sleep and rest. IMOHO. God bless Donald Trump.
One thing about it, when you accuse Trump of something he admits to it.
That is what got him started, if we look back six months ago and the media threw the same crap at him. He pressed his lips and said, yep, I did it.
Next?
Trump certainly isn’t perfect.
But despite the early polls with an electorate who isn’t that familiar with Carson, Carson has no business running for president and he would be eaten alive by Hillary.
Fine, have a particular animus toward Trump and don’t vote for him if you don’t want to. But for the sake of our country, please don’t vote for Carson, who BTW is terrible on the issues. Vote for Cruz if you don’t like Trump.
And yes, Evangelical voters in Iowa do seem to be poor in picking presidential candidates, getting caught up in who seems most Christian and “nice”, rather than who has the best and most conservative positions, would make the best president, and would be most competitive in the general election.
And the media’s going to give Trump a pass? That’s hardly going to be the case.
Congress would find it easier to defy Trump because he isn’t seen as a representative of their party by most people. Not working with President Cruz would be much harder for them to justify. It would look like infighting. Cruz, as President, by default is the party leader. He will have the bully pulpit and will be able to convince the public with good arguments. Then their letters and calls will hit Congress.
Gingrich got a lot done as Speaker and moved his own party and the President. Cruz is the same kind of core conservative as Reagan and Gingrich and like them, is strong on rhetoric and making his arguments. Unlike Trump, he won’t make gaffes and potentially insulting or offensive remarks that risk pulling him off-message.
Yesterday morning Trump was on Morning Joe, very bright and early. Mika and Joe asked how much sleep he got, having come directly from the debate to New Hampshire. He said, one hour and a half. He was doing interviews even after that yesterday, along with surrogates fanning out to programs also, and a rally last night and another tonight.
No one does that sleep deprivation well. It always shows.
You’re the best under fire, I’ve seen around here! Thanks, Amntn. YOU could work for Trump! Splendid work.
The fact that the Dems rate Jeb so much higher than his current polls tells me they’re leaning to the candidates they think are more liberal. I like that Cruz is way down in this poll, way below his actual poll numbers. That tells me that Cruz is a true conservative who the Dems truly despise and can’t stand the thought of being President. All the more reason to support him.
If you think the establishment hate Trump, you should read their discussions on Cruz. They absolutely loath him. The GOPe have billions waiting for Cruz’s rise - and then they will unleash Hell on Earth to torpedo him. Their man is Rubio or Kasich ...
They don’t give a crap if the Repubs loose the presidency - BUT they do care about losing the House and the Senate ...
Why? Because, as we all have seen - even with a GOP majority in both houses of Congress - NOTHING CHANGES!
The Chamber of Communists, the K-Street / Wall street banksters and manipulator - and all the other treasonous globalist bastards, who are totally in cahoots with Obama and his Marxist goals, will keep things exactly as they are now, because THAT is how they want this nation to look ...
Get a clue! The Establishment Class HATES AMERICA as much as do the Marxist! They are the same people! They have HC in a vise - of their own design - with a federal jail cell hanging over her head anytime they decide to unleash the dogs, who they control.
They want amnesty, cheap labor, and globalist crony capitalism. These establishment dirtbags desire nothing more than to have every American scrubbing toilets - while they stand on our backs and beat us to death with bull whips.
If Trump goes down, this Republic dies with him. It’s flame out - permanently. We will be reduced to communism. They will kill most of us if that is what it takes for them to hold power. Cruz is not gonna save us, any more than he could as a Senator. He is outnumbered. He’s wise on the Constitution, he’s patriotic, but he’s no Donald Trump. At the end of the day, Ted Cruz is Mr. “play by the rules.” - And that is why he will fail. We a need a guy who will take off the gloves, throw bricks and drop kick the establishment in the balls. In short, America desperately We needs a “badass” - And the only candidate that fills that mold is Donald J. Trump - warts and all.
“abortion, gay marriage, and religious liberty are big issues for them,”
And you are not gonna stop any of those things by playing “nice.” You gotta get down into the mud and kick the enemy in the nuts over and over until it kills him. I want a candidate who will eviscerate the bad guys - a guy who will rip out their entrails and shove ‘em down their throats - not lecture them to death. The time for Emily Post manners is way way past over.
BTTT!
I saw it as meltdown. It can happen if your 70 years old and have had no sleep for days.
It is not the same world since Obama.
Congress hates Cruz. They will not work with him and the media will be in lock step with them. Congress and the media will trash him 24/7.
Your phone calls won’t work because there won’t be another election for two years. They haven’t listened to us yet and they won’t magically start then.
The only way he could overcome it would be with a massive mandate and we both know that just isn’t going to happen.
Cruz is polling in the second tier of the primary. If he should somehow win it he would either lose in the general or win by a small margin. He doesn’t have the crossover appeal to win in a landslide and have a huge mandate.
Trump has already proven he can handle the media and he has the guts to name names and tell everyone where the bodies are buried with Congress. As he says, he knows how to negotiate. He also has the crossover appeal to win by enough to have a mandate.
The only way I see us winning is Trump/Cruz. Let Trump bulldoze the place and then Cruz can build it back the way it’s supposed to be.
Oh, and Newt came out today backing the amnesty candidates.
Thank you Dr Sunset.
You’ve been very persistent with your ‘diagnosis’, tonight.
We’ll make sure to log this in to your patients chart ;-)
You’re wanted back in the Social Room, STAT....Golden Girls is on.
Don’t forget...Carson believes in the prophecies of a woman (Ellen G. White) who was hit in the face by a rock as a child. The kindest explanation for the prophecies is hallucinations.
A less kind explanation is the fact these so-called prophecies are the regurgitated failed published works of her older husband who plagiarized them from others of the time.
That Carson believes them now (including the pyramid grain storage theory) speaks volumes about his manifest unfitness to be POTUS. Calling crazy a religious belief doesn’t exempt it from scrutiny.
He’s part of a cult. I’d no sooner vote for him than I would a Scientologist.
