To me the issue is really deportation. Fer it, or agin it? At last look, Ted was agin’ it.
Show me.
I think Ted has been silent. Which is problematic for thoroughgoing Trumpians.

This is Cruz from 2013, in regards to the Dream Act controversy. Since he was for reinstating deporting the dreamers, then itâs safe to assume heâs for deporting any illegals.
Asked by Telemundo whether Romney should reinstate deportations of young people granted deferred action, Cruz said, âI do.â
What does the law say? Ted Cruz will follow the law and work Constitutionally within the law. That is his record. For example, he stated that it is the law that a wall should have been built at the border but it was not done. He calls for following that law.
If the law is followed, the borders secured, ICE allowed to do it’s job and weak laws strengthened most of the immigration problem will take care of itself. The “deportation” word is a trap and the media love to ask it the question so they can follow up with “so you will rip families apart and separate parents and their children?”. I think Cruz realizes that it is a trap. Donald Trump may do well speaking this way but I guarantee you Ted Cruz would not.
Is it the law that someone who is here illegally is to be deported? Is it the law that illegals who commit crimes here be deported?
