“The dozen policewomen, all decorated officers over the age of 40, claim the test is unfair for older women because it’s not normed for age or gender and is not related to job-essential duties.”
It’s unfair for older women—no, all women—because women are not strong enough to be police officers, nor are they temperamentally suited for the work.
And since when is chasing down and subduing wrong-doers, then bringing them to jail, not a “job-essential duty”?
I commented previously on the article several weeks ago aout the after school fight in Allentown, PA that resulted in a policewoman being thrown to the ground and pounded by school kids, that women should not be police officers because they cannot handle the physical requirements of the job. And I was told how wrong I was to blame the policewoman for being pounded.
