Check this out.
Wow.
I get why, when they argue about TPP, nobody talks details. They just argue platitudes: for trade, against trade, free trade good, free trade bad... no one wants to talk about what is actually in the treaty.
Trump is so far ahead of the SHEEPLE once again.
Trump/Cruz 2016
But Trump is right....There's a reason they didn't join.
The Donald never comes to the negotiating table unprepared. Its what made him a Billionaire.
I find this very interesting. The imposition of tariffs on solar panels contribute to the higher costs of renewable energy in this country, much to the dismay of the left; this same left who rail against businesses outsourcing to produce cheaper product in a choice driven economic system. Without this tariff, you could have the choice of buying a solar panel system at WallyWorld that might not last as long, or buy a higher quality US made system at a higher price. Eliminating consumer choice is a bullet point of communism.
But I don't even care that he got it wrong. Trump also misspoke on China and TPP before the debate; why do you think Paul was so ready for him at the debate. So my concern is his staff, not the comment. No one on his staff caught this and coached him how to correctly mention China indirect benefit..
Trump said he was really good at reading contracts.
Supported by Speaker Paul Ryan and Candidate Ted Cruz specifically; Joint Op-Ed in that regard.
Those who donât:

⦠Mike Huckabee â Position Outline
⦠Rand Paul â Position Outline
⦠Rick Santorum â Position Outline
⦠Chris Christie â Position Outline
Notice that Candidate Donald Trump is the only Top Tier Candidate who stands in opposition to Obama Trade. Borrowing something succinct from a previous comment:
[When it comes to the elimination of Globalism diminishing America] â¦itâs Trump and only Trump. There is nobody else. We can quibble about who changed their mind about abortion and when, and who said what nice thing about which democrat and when, but none of that matters. None of it. The globalists have unleashed the four horsemen of the American apocalypse.
*They are:
⦠TPP
⦠Amnesty
⦠ObamaCare.
⦠and Common Core.
â¦and Donald Trump is the only one who rides against them ALL. Itâs Trump or no one.
*Notice Specifically these Four Globalist Issues are the Specific legislative priorities of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. THIS IS NOT COINCIDENTAL (link)
The U.S. CoC has spent tens of millions, via K-Street, purchasing legislative support (buying votes) for these issues, the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal specifically. There are TRILLIONS of dollars at stake.
This is an in your face example of why Trump is by far the BEST candidate on the stage. The other ones are just auditioning for a job in the Trump administration.
Today, no giggling. At least not at Trump's expense.
'Course, no apology or acknowledgement that Trump was right, either.
He the one!
Carl Icahn was on with Neil Cavuto yesterday and took him to task for not asking Trump more economic questions. He said Trump was the only one on stage that knows what he’s talking about. It was funny seeing Cavuto being schooled by this multi-billionare about the economy and how to fix it.
I didn’t watch the debate, and the posted video in this article ends at the moment Rand Paul says “China is not part of this deal”.
Did Trump respond to that with any of the points made in this article?
Ham head Rove and the WSJ are being stupid about this. BS’ing to their readers that Trump was wrong. And that dingbat Paul being an idiot during the debate who poorly listened.
Bump for Trump!!
As big as this bill is who knows what all is in it. That’s the latest Commie trick to nullify the Constitutional process of government.
I really wonder if Trump is playing a “reaganesque gambit”
Playing dumb while holding all the cards...
Regan could turn on the every-man simplistic appeal while chess mastering behind the scenes. That is one of the reasons the left keep insisting he was a dumb buffoon, when anyone who knew him personally and saw his personal library know otherwise from the dog eared and annotated copies of deep philosophical and economic literature books he kept.
