Did you ever hear of hand controls for a automobile? Yes the VW Passat with an automatic has hand controls. Yes the 1986 VW Cabriolet with an stick shift has hand controls. It is a challenge to drive at times! Are you going to criticize me now because I use a Graveley Zero turn to cut my lawn. Or I use a Polaris ATV to go into the woods to deer hunt or ride the trails, with its automatic transmission. a couple of guys are modifying a snowmobile and i just got a Can-Am motorcycle too! What’s next because I utilize a Stihl Pole Saw to trim trees on the property, you will criticize me too. I use a Husqvarna chain saw too! How about the use of forearm crutches to transfer from the wheelchair Polaris ATV or the Graveley Zero Turn, will that be scrutinized too. Okay i get down on the ground to weed the flower beds and plant flowers, and scoot on the ground to keep my yard nice looking!
How about the issue of walking or running around even when a person is in a wheelchair. How about taking the dog for a walk! many times I utilize the issue that I walk or run around. the dog goes for 4 walks a day 4 miles. Okay so I run to the grocery store! There is usage of words even when a person cannot walk or run!
Yes I served in the Marine Corps. Yes I was a Arabic Language Translator. As a child I was in the Middle East with a family of medical missionaries ( both parents were physicians and donated surgical time in Israel and other countries for pediatric (children) needs (cleft palate, and other childhood congenital disorders) where i learned to speak a foreign language. from there i went into the Marine Corps till the Lebanon Barracks Bombing. The family served as medical missionaries till 1996 in the Middle East.

I went to a University in Wisconsin Green Bay that is interconnected by Tunnels between buildings. Yes i went to seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS.
Yes I went through a divorce as a pastor, because the ex-wife could not handle the demands of a disabled husband, whom could not do certain things.
After the divorce i went back to the University of Wisconsin Madison and got a Masters degree in Counseling.
I was offered a pastorate of another conservative denominations church as I was working as a counselor, and the church had no pastor to serve in the local area.
Yes, I purchased my own home in 2006, had the wheelchair ramp placed within the garage, because I live in snow country.
I utilize Dragon Naturally Speaking Voice recognition program and recently updated the software and have to get some kinks out of the program with words that do not spell correctly.

It is odd because i took care of my mother in my own home until the Alzheimer’s disease progressed to the point that others hired to keep her at home and when it was deemed that i had no choice to place her in a nursing home. For the last year I took a sabbatical from my duties as a pastor and a hiatus from my business to care for my mother.
You my fellow Freeper have assumed at one time I was a woman, because I was taking care of my mother. Oddly enough now you go after a person whom is disabled. Are you not aware that more males are taking care of their parents instead of Assisted Living Center placement, because a nursing home placement cost a lot of money

Maybe it is time the moderator ZOT you from Free republic. Because my dear Freeper you are the troll, the liar and the fraud! i am now 52 years of age, live with being paralyzed, confined to a wheelchair, which makes for getting around difficult and guess what Freeper I work a full time job. So yes i get around the best i can with the use of adaptive technologies to do as much as I can for myself.

You claimed to have been entombed in the rubble of the barracks for days. I say you're a liar. This is based on numerous statements and articles from the rescue workers, DOD and Military Journalists who all stated that *NO ONE* was pulled alive from the rubble after the first day.
You claimed to have had 50 surgeries and then at a later date claimed 36. Was there a miracle involved? Did your surgeries go into remission and reverse themselves?
Then there is the issue of statements like this one from your latest post:

Apart from being just about the clumsiest piece of English Composition I've seen in quite a while, you actually prove my point. I know of "walking" and "running" colloquialisms quite well. It is specifically because you were *not* using these words metaphorically that show you for a liar.
In fact, you were referring to your doctors telling you to walk (as in "ambulate" not "walk the dog") and then later claim paralysis that puts the lie to you statements.
It's you own words you should be worried about rather than mine. All I do is quote you and compare your various statements, like this one for example, made on June 15, 2015: "I served this country and fought in Lebanon and was placed in a wheel chair after the barracks was blown up. after 36 surgeries i walk once again,....."
Then I simply point out what you said as recently as today: "Yes I am paralyzed from the waist down."
By the way - I mentioned your extremely poor English Composition. Others have said this to you in the past and you have repeatedly blamed it on your use of Dragon.
Here's the rub. Dragon has limitations, but they are not the kind of errors you make. (i.e. Sentence fragments, improper and inconsistent capitalization, wrong word usage.) Dragon can't account for things like this: "...since 1983 I have have 58 surgeries,..." (Wow!. Every time we turn around that number changes! 50 to 36 and back up to 58!)
You spent a good deal of time in your rant accusing me of "going after" women posters, the disabled and attacking you because I thought you were a woman. Cite your examples.
You also spent a lot of time "defending" yourself over a divorce, some tunnels at a university and putting wheelchair ramp in your garage. I'm sure it's a very nice ramp and all but I never mentioned any of these things.
