Thanks to a student’s YouTube video, University of Missouri Assistant Professor Melissa Click has become of symbol of what many parents dread when they send their children off to college. From her bullying of students to her doctoral thesis on the whiteness of Martha Stewart and her classes in “visual literacy,†she crystalizes the view that tuition dollars are spent on nonsense, and sometimes worse. As Missouri high school students prepare their applications this fall, they are looking at paying over $25,000 for a year on campus and non-residents will have to pay over $40,000.
When the president of MU and the chancellor of the main campus in Columbia stepped down Monday following protests that they were insensitive to racial issues, Click and other members of the faculty went to work enforcing their self-created ban on the media. Click was captured on video harassing student journalists and calling in “muscle†to prevent one from documenting the tent city that had gone up on the campus quad, a public area that was known as a “safe space.â€
That an assistant professor of “mass media†in the department of communication was unaware of the instantaneous power of YouTube and social media is another reason for parents to wonder about the wisdom of spending their money on Click. She teaches in the College of Arts and Sciences rather than the vaunted School of Journalism, but that didn’t keep fans of the First Amendment from weighing in. The National Press Club called on the university to advise students and staff that they shouldn’t keep reporters from reporting “and certainly not through physical force or threats.â€

I agree... I guess you get a doctorate in 19th century literature so you can teach it in college. Outside of that you spent a lot of money on a doctorate of little value? I dunno..... But yeah.... she did not learn much from it. Extremely liberal, vegan, and living in the heart of a conservative area. She joked about putting up a Bernnie Sanders sign in her yard. I told her it probably wouldn’t be a good idea....
No, she resigned her "courtesy appointment" to the School of Journalism (which was already in the process of voting to revoke it). She remains an assistant professor at the undergraduate college.
A hardcore Marxist (feminist) who hates God and God’s Design of the Human body and one who EJECTS Natural Law Theory (basis of American Jurisprudence and a true “Justice” System).
She has a mind and worldview of a Statin or Lenin or a Marx who wants to kill and enslave anyone who doesn’t “think” like she does. She promotes killing babies and selling baby parts. She promotes sodomizing others to little children-—as “normal” and “good”-—the muslim harem-boy ethics.
And her mind is based on satanic Marxism (group, herd, and hate and isolate and kill)-—totally devoid of the Founding Christian Worldview of “Love” your enemies, which created Individualism and Individual Natural Rights which only come from God, never the State or her (which makes her so angry and full of rage).
This irrational, evil person needs to be fired and removed so she can not indoctrinate our children. Marxists are evil and promote hatred and removal of God —He who gives us our Individual Natural Rights in America. She needs OUT of the “teaching” field.

She a professor in the Communications department. This is not part of the School of Journalism. She had a "courtesy appointment" that allowed her to also teach journalism courses. She "resigned" from this "courtesy appointment". It's being played up like she's resigned from the University, but she hasn't.

I’ll quibble with you on one thing. If you are going to teach literature, and degree in 19th British literature might be just the thing.
On the other hand, the identity studies (women’s, the various ethnic studies) all wind up being fraudulent. Click’s own studies are of that ilk. Why would anyone spend money to be educated by someone like this? Its child abuse.
People who get these degrees become either teachers or writers. My favorite college professor (a doctor) taught romantic poetry. In-depth study of English literature can turn a person into a fully-rounded, intellectual person. It’s a lifelong study, actually. I just wish I had had the time to continue my studies past my BA.

Nope. She's going to lay low and wait for it to blow over, then go back to business as usual if she can get away with it.
Look again. She “resigned” from a post that was not real in the first place. If you think she quit her actual assistant professorship that puts taxpayer money in her pocket, you’re not paying attention.
