I have a small dog myself, 145 pounds of small and I can assure you people give him a wide berth even though he's a gentle giant. Maybe I was just born and raised in a different America, but that sounds like a real dog to me.

Maybe I was just born and raised in a different America, but that sounds like a real dog to me. I always get a kick when I take him somewhere and here that exact same thing from people. I have had all kinds of dogs, the smallest being a Bassett Hound, but I have never had a dog as devoted or attentive to emotions as my English mastiff/ American Field Lab mix and there is nothing better than the look on peoples faces when I tell them he's a Mastador.
