You didn’t listen well - make up to $36,000 and pay nothing. After that, pay tax on the remaining amount. My tax bill would go down.
Well good for you but people who make less than $36K should pay SOMETHING in taxes...they drive on the same roads, etc...wrong to let them get a pass...
