IMO The ambassador may have thought there was an abduction/release plan but the two in DC planned to silence him from the beginning. He knew too much

I am still waiting for someone to satisfactorily explain to me how trading Ambassador Stevens for the Blind Sheikh would make Obama look good. It wouldn’t make him look good. It would make him look stupid and weak. He wouldn’t want that.

And if the enemy was attacking to get Stevens for the Blind Sheikh, then why didn’t they do the trade? They could have traded the Ambassador’s dead body. They could have traded the 40 CIA employees for him. They didn’t.

They traded for money and equipment and safety.

The primary mission for the enemy was to bring the world’s attention to Benghazi to see what Hillary and Obama had been doing in Libya.

Yes, I’ve always believed that too .. if the kidnapping didn’t go as planned .. then they would just outright kill him because he knew about all the gun running and they thought they would be able to keep it silent if Stevens was killed in the attack.
