Trump has changed his entire party affiliation. We are not talking about an old southern democrat who has seen the light. He is a calculating Mew York liberal. Romney should be a terrific example of someone to trust in regards to flip flopping... Open your eyes and look past the flashiness of Trump the candidate. Honestly take a look logically at who he is and what we know about him and who he has supported in the past.
As I’ve said before, Reagan was able to be tested as a Conservative after switching parties. He did a pretty bang-up job in CA before becoming president. Furthermore, he held onto his positions for a good 20 years or so before he became president. Trump’s positions have “evolved” over a 3-year span. Is that really good enough?
From the age of 16 until the age of 23 my wife was a Buddhist nun. She comes from a family that has been Buddhist for 100’s of years. Should I have refused to look at her conversion to Christianity and focused on her past?
The same is true of Trump
Look at what he is supporting and look at what proposing now
Look at his immigration plan - what conservative better? Look at his 2nd amendment position what liberal would even propose that?,
Look at his tax plan, it is the best one on the table.
If he were president and got just those 3 things done he’d be one of the greatest conservative presidents of all time.
He was also a leader in calling out the problems with Obama’s birth certificate
He is also breaking the strangle hold of the GOP-E on candidate and moving the entire party to the right.
He is standing up to the PC speech crowd.
He may not push all your buttons but since it looks like he is the most likely candidate you’d better ask if you’d rather have him or Hitlery.
BTW I am actually a Cruz supporter but I think Trump will get the nomination
