Conservatives are. Leftists are trying to defend one of their own.
If we aren’t careful he could end up being the nominee because we are all supposed to shut up when it comes to any scrutiny of him.
People are so busy sticking up for the personal attacks on him that they are totally missing his policy positions.
Truth is(maybe it is just me), I am not sure he is totally firm on what his positions actually are.
One could ask the same question re: Donald Trump.
Because real Conservatives realize you do not allow anyone in the Leftist media to use their standard distort, slander and lie tactics to take out anyone. Once you legitimatize those tactics, they will be used on the candidate you like next.
