No, I want the truth, no matter where it leads.The main points of the recent liberal attacks on Ben Carson have been debunked.
I have no problem with people on here giving Ben a hard time on immigration or whatever issue they think he has been weak on or not conservative enough on. No problem at all. Heck, I think that gives me pause, too, in my support.
What I cannot stand is to watch a repeat of a character assassination that is based on lies or half-truths and see campaign operatives posing as freepers take part in the shoveling of all the crap.
Yup. I’ve got plenty of concerns about Carson on policy but that pales in comparison to any dirtbag who whines about the media only to turn around and join the media in attacking another candidate on meaningless side issues.
Debunking is a good thing, that’s true. Still, it bothers me that nobody has come forth to offer backup to Carson’s stories, including his own brother. I know that if my sibling needed corroboration for his/her story, and I could legitimately give it, I would. It bothers me that Carson’s brother, so far, is unwilling or unable to do so. None of the people who were helped from the biology incident have stepped forward to say that Carson’s story is true, either. Perhaps someone will. It’s possible that they are all dead now. I don’t know.
It’s just that I’ve known people who tell tall tales and I don’t like lies and liars. I’ve seen the harm done by some of them and know that I can’t depend on what they say. I’d love to see Carson quit hiding behind the media’s giving Obama a pass and tell them, ‘investigate all you want’. Until he does that, or until someone comes forward to back up his stories, I’m going to remain a skeptic.
All that said, I was not going to vote for him, anyhow, though I’d though he might make a good surgeon general. Now, I’m not sure that I’d trust him anywhere in government.

Nothing, absolutely nothing wrong in vetting Carson’s policies - some are very controversial as has been noted many times here at FR. But they are now hounding him over stupid stuff and doing it with all the evil joy they brought to their hounding of Thomas and Cain and West while turning a blind eye to the original “Magic Negro.”

Immigration, Puerto Rico, 2nd Amendment, yes, I have a lot of issues with Carson. If Levin starts to dump on Trump not being willing to vote for him - I am through with Levin. I am sick of all the manure. With all the other oddness Carson story could have been possible. CARSON CAN’T WIN in the long run. But, “Politico” lied. But in the heat of a campaign a lot is said. And Trump has been quiet on Politico since Friday afternoon. However Trump is hot on the hammer/knife story, and that does speak to temperament, even if it happened as an adolescent.
