Yeah but thats verging on a conspiratorial level of the tin hats. You think Carson and the GOP are behind the attacks against Carson??

Bro, it’s pretty obvious from your posts that you like Carson.

That’s cool.

What do you like about him? Make me a convert :)

Some would probably want to say Clinton and the Dems are behind it. The Dems are dealing with the Reps, the Clintons leave nothing to chance.

Party machines have to deal with internal party problems and the other party problems at the same time.

By this time in 1963, JFK had two simultaneous operations on behalf of the Dems machine going that I have read about in books .

Taylor Branch in his “King Years” trilogy laid out how the Kennedy Administration ordered the FBI to spy on Martin Luther King which led to audio tapes of his sexual encounters in hotel rooms.

MLK’s civil rights protests were forcing Kennedy to move fast on racial equality, faster than he felt public opinion would allow him to. The white southernern Dems who voted for him were alienated and there was a chance that racial protests that had spread to the north, some violent, could alienate white Dems in the North.

JFK intended to contain and control MLK for the election.
After his death in early 1964 the wheels of the machine IMHO using the FBI sent King a ‘sex tape’ that his wife opened up.

Jackie Kennedy was interviewed on audio tape by historian Arthur Schlesinger in early 1964 as reported a few years back on ABC. She talked about enemies of her husband who wanted him dead. On the tape MLK is referred to as a ‘despicable man’.

For the Republicans and their presumed nominee, Barry Goldwater, JFK’s political director Kenneth O’Donnell had put the wheels in motion to create a radio monitoring operation that would tape radio shows put on by preachers and commentators who expressed political opinions supporting Goldwater and opposed to the Democrats.

Fairness Doctrine (it was FCC rules and law back then) complaints would be leveled at radio stations demanding free time on stations that depended on paid time for their existence.

It was a campaign to intimidate the radio opponents of the Dems forcing radio stations to ask the broadcasters to ‘tone it down’. It was in full operation during the 1964 general election campaign. This campaign is detailed in the book “Good Guys, Bad Guys and the First Amendment” by former CBS News President Fred Friendly.

These historical items are real enough, much more real than tin foil and in our modern age I’m certain they are repeated in new ways.

The GOP must protect its ‘brand name’ by not allowing a conservative candidate to be its nominee. It must manipulate the process to get a candidate it considers ‘electable’ at any cost.

That means Trump must be taken out and if Carson can be used to do it before he is ultimately dispatched by Rubio most likely, then that’s the way it will be done.
