Yale students shout down professor who told them to 'look away' if offended by Halloween costumes

Over-educated hothouse pansies who think they have the right to be protected from viewing or hearing anything that offends them or anything they just plain do not like.

The idea that others may have freedom of speech and action never occurs to them.

I was at a local costume shop before Halloween, a place that has thousands upon thousands of costumes. I picked up one and it took me a minute to figure out what it was: A pink suit, pink pillbox hat, bloodstains all over the front. It was the suit Jackie Kennedy was wearing when John was shot. I wonder if the little wimps would be offended by that one?

publications paid for by the taxpayers of the district.

I went to a Baptist University, Furman, in the late ‘80s and missed most of that. The idea of a ‘trigger’ or ‘microagression’ would have generated peals of laughter.

Nowadays I think parochial colleges are the only way to go, as far as any solid learning or veneration of the Western canon. If the news is to be believed -- although comedian Seinfeld confirmed it -- the secular campuses nowadays are paranoid nuthouses.

Liberalism run wild. Liberal professors have been teaching these kids for years to be Commies now they feel weird about it having be shoved right back in their face. I saw online a few days ago a video of college students expressing their love of Socialism and how the Govt should be allowed to go into everyone’s bank account and determine if they have too much wealth.

What's scary to me -- these people might just vote Sanders into office. Their thinking is all emotions, no logic.

Universities and colleges need to immediately remind students that they are, indeed students and DO NOT RUN THE PLACE.

Their high schools ( three months ago ) wouldn't have put up with their nonsense for a minute..

How these scatterbrains were EVER considered for Yale, I can't imagine....a community college, MAYBE, an institution of higher learning....NEVER.
