On the eve of the Paris summit, we learn that China has been fudging its carbon emission data for years. That this is a surprise to anyone shows how blind climate change advocates are to reality these days.

China has an air pollution problem, but it’s not CO2.

It’s the smoke. They need to do something about that for their own sake.

But I don’t think it affects the US.

And we have people in the Obama administration that want cows to wear devices that measure “emissons” data. Boy there are lots of loonies in the environmentalism for profit scheme.

either the climate scientists are right and there's nothing that we can realistically do to prevent what they claim will be catastrophic global warming, or they are wrong and there's no reason to waste money on cutting emissions. Either way, the right course would be to wait and see what happens and spend the money as needed down the road to adapt.
And then there is the Al Gore Chicken Little approach . . .

They are not blind. Their goals are not what they advertise. They are Communìsts and AGW by whatever the nom de jour is merely an effective tool for implementing their Utopian Hell.

I believe that about a third of the air pollution in San Francisco is from China.

That could be a lot. Does San Francisco have much air pollution?

The Oregonian newspaper had a article saying that 18% of the mercury in Oregon came from China.

I can’t remember where I got that info but here’s a link saying that 25 percent of the pollution in L.A. is from China:

Our retarded eco-wackos can enjoy living in America with very little air and rivers, lakes pollution. Much of the reason due to free trade allowing China to decimate our industries and jobs and take them to China where pollution controls are minimal.

So the eco-freaks get the same amount of their CO2 (mythical global warming) pollution with China putting it out instead of the USA

China is not dumb and is not about to throttle its industries with super expensive CO2 minimization schemes. It will continue to use coal to make electricity. It will keep building new coal fire electric plants to supply its industries. Especially with coal prices scraping bottom. Coal prices are down same as crude prices.

Solar and wind power is too flaky and always needs a duplicate base load electric power plant to be built for back up when the wind don’t blow and the sun don’t shine.
