A tip from the public led police in California's capital city to arrest a 28-year-old man Wednesday in the stabbing of a U.S. airman hailed as a hero for helping thwart a European terror attack.Air Force Staff Sgt. Spencer Stone was knifed three times in the torso on Oct. 8 in a fight near a bar in Sacramento, shortly after nightclub patrons applauded the 23-year-old for his role in tackling a gunman with ties to radical Islam on a Paris-bound passenger train in August.

The old man who took care of burning our poop barrels was rumored to be a former VC. One night someone placed a smoke grenade under one of the barrels and pulled the pin. Next day, the wily old guy saw it. I don’t know if he knew it was smoke or thought it was a real grenade but that barrel was full to overflowing because he never pulled it out. Somebody finally had to sneak over at night and set it off. Fun times in the highlands.
