Did the Turtle campaign for Conway? As always - McConnell did so from behind the scenes.
Almost all of Conway's ads were direct copies of McConnell's attack ads from the Senate primary where McConnell trounced Bevin.
We did not hear any help or endorsements from the State GOP or McConnell for Bevin.

Yeah, but Jefferson County is like Cook County (Chicago) south. However many votes does Conway needs they’ll find 5 more.

Yeah, but Jefferson County is like Cook County (Chicago) south. However many votes does Conway needs theyâll find 5 more.82.3% of the vote in that county has already been counted, so I think the Cheat Boat has already sailed.

Bevin at 52% with 72% counted. Not bad at all in a 3-way race. Bevin is elected!

You mean you didn’t cross state lines and vote? You’d make a terrible Democrat... :)

Had the distinct pleasure of meeting and talking with Bevin for 45 minutes or so at CPAC 2014. Wonderful guy. Great testimony. I’m pulling for him!

No, I didn’t - dang it - never thought about that. But, then again, KY is a 4 1/2 hour drive from where I live. I guess I am a bad Democrat. (hangs head in shame).

My guess would be that the independent attracted the RINO vote. Same caliber of folks who went for John Anderson in the 1980 Reagan landslide.
