She might have it. Look what's happened in countries where populations have wanted to vote out of the EU. Some places have been told they can't vote. Some (like England) the EU buys off farmers or otherrs with subsidies. Some like Greece even vote for pols who promise to get them out of the EU. But all those pols have a price, and Germany gets their way.
What's to stop Merkel from giving the leaders who say they'll take the invaders a whole lot of cash and favors to sell out their countrymen?

I was thinking of the past... European peoples, or some of them anyway, have shown a greater tendency to defend themselves than, say, USA maybe
(its particularly ironic that the chief importer of the enemy forces into Europe today seems to be the leader of GERMANY of all places!??? Can the German people like this/????)
