Awhile back I noticed what seemed to be deliberate punctuation errors on the cute story, cute saying emails that were forwarded to me by friends. I see the same kind of errors on the posted emails.
Could there be some kind of tracking code that is being interjected into the news articles? Or, could it be the automatic edit is not turned off when the article is put to print?

I think it is caused by WHERE you copy and paste from, it happened to me this morning when I hit preview but when I went back and typed in the exact words they were fine.

Notice they are always in the bodies of the threads, where the text is copied from the sources.
Yes! What IS going on with the chicken scratching fonts and characters lately? Very strange for FR.
The software is not recognizing special characters such as smart quotes, smart apostrophes, and ems (long dashes) - at least in many cases. Until this is solved, a good workaround would be to use a text editor and replace those with regular quotes, regular apostrophes, and double dashes respectively.
