"Who has the authority to create a 'Commission on Presidential Debates? ' "

You asked the pertinent question on this thread.

The very word "Commission" usually will bring to mind some kind of government connection. Are the feds in any way funding this "Commission" out of taxpayers' monies?

If not, there's always expenses connected with big-league "commissions" or "committees". If so, who's payin' the freight? Voluntary donors, the commission members themselves...or we suckers?

Let's have a little transparency here, particularly since two fraudsters, Hill and Bill, may eventually have their fingers into this pie. This pie reeks already.

If anyone knows from whence this cozy commission sprang or springs, please ping me. I tried some researching myself and came up empty-handed.

Someone who is soliciting electoral votes for the Presidency of the United States is, in that activity, accountable to no one and to nothing, especially to phony “commissions” which have no constitutional warrant to operate.
