I was just going to say that if the country has a drug problem shouldn’t it be addressed?
FWIW, OH tomorrow is voting on a very bad marijuana bill that is totally related to ten or so named connected entities having a monopoly and reaping in huge profits. In addition to that, heroin addiction is out of control, and not just in the cities. At this time, for Rep Jordan to say there’s ALREADY a drug problem eliminating potential employees is totally appropriate.
Correction, “give me that!”
Hey, stop that. You're thinking logically.
Besides, if you follow the news from Europe, many of these camps have rampant drug issues. (Probably explains why there are so many rapes.)
All congresscritters should partake in a twelve step program. The first eleven steps should be on a ten step pier into the Potomac.
When we're done with those government and personal employees, let's think about asking their family members to line up to pass drug tests!
I strongly believe that ordinary Americans whose jobs are eliminated or have been eliminated to be held be foreign workers, have a better record of non-drug use than any and all government, both civil service and elected, much less their families who get to live inside that rarefied DC bubble, who never have to worry or train foreigners to replace them at cheaper salaries!
Poop on you, Jim Jordan!
It's high time to "clean House and Senate!"
Foreign Workers needed because of Unionized Public Schools . .
But...but....the same people want ‘loco weed’ to be legal...??
Once weed is legal this problem will solve itself.
It is coming so why drag...(get it drag?) it out.
This will solve a large part of the problem...until then...
CLOSE THE BORDERS....ALL OF THEM...AND DEPORT NOW....
Just do what liberals do. Make the test easier to pass or eliminate the test.
Having known their "leaders" from the past and today, you'd not think they were the same bunch and definitely question calling them conservative!
It's time to start rating those who are handing out the ratings today!
>>Pay more then you will get a better quality of candidate. This isn’t rock surgery.<<
We pay $14/hr for entry-level manufacturing work. $14.90 at the end of 1st year. $0.50 extra for 2nd shift. Great benefits and lots of OT. HS Diploma and 18+ are only requirements. Most of our employees W2 $50k+ a year, for basic machine operation. Not too shabby.
We lose 2 out of every 5 candidates to failed drug screens.
Sure about that?
If you are correct, then why is the Donald attracting more people to his rallies?
Thank-you for your response.
Jordan makes no sense.
He’s a stupid SOB. My God.
And make every one of them wear NASCAR style Drivers Suits with all their “sponsors” names and the amounts of money they've received embroidered thereon!
how much per employee does the drug screening and associated legal counseling cost per failed drug test?
Of those that were hired, were still working in 6 months? Came to work regularly?
“Sure about that?”
I don’t understand what your are referring to.
I'll just bet if those who "make too much money" to find legitimate work have to be subject to the same rules as they do to work, they'll soon find a way to get off pot or whatever else they're taking (same also goes to those "working" at the unemployment offices and for ALL civil "servants" whose jobs should be subject to the same laws!)
for Rep Jordan to say thereâs ALREADY a drug problem eliminating potential employees is totally appropriate.

There may be a drug problem in manufacturing. What about all the other fields of expertise that are being replaced by H1B visas?
Relatives with major electrical engineering degrees have been shut out of the job market and now he’s a ranch hand.
