Jeb Bushâs campaign isnât doing very well right now. The candidate himself has had to say this week that his own campaign is ânot on life support.â The hosts of Fox Newsâ The Five tried to diagnose exactly what Bush is doing wrong (that now-infamous debate exchange with Marco Rubio certainly factored into it).
Meghan McCain spoke up and said, âAs the only person thatâs been on a campaign that imploded and then came back from the dead⦠he needs to clean house with his staff!â
Bollig pushed back on that being the problem, but McCain insisted that she knows for a fact there are people on campaigns more interested in being part of some tell-all book or meeting famous people than promoting a candidate, and cleaning house may help a campaign, just like it did with her fatherâs.
Yes, for those of you who donât remember, John McCainâs 2008 primary campaign was floundering before making quite a big comeback.

Lighten up, Francis.
It was a reply to the poster’s “Shut up, Meg!”
Kunis does the voice of Meg.
Sheesh....
Fact.
She’d be living out of shopping carts if it weren’t for her daddy.
I thought it might be a Gaelic dialect, but I figured it out.
Who cares what the dyed blond hair daughter of a go along get along loser candidate has to say about anything.
Hello and welcome to today’s executive edition of “Speak like a progressive”, volume one.
Working on our vocabulary, we are introduced to another leftist version of the noun “rude.”
In today’s video example, Megan McCain uses it to mean “disagreeing with someone” in a general sense, but more specifically, to say “you’ve proven me to be a total a**hat there.”
So, in today’s exercise, imagine you are having an argument with your spouse. You left the toilet seat in the wrong position or put the last roll of toilet paper on upside down and are being lectured by your spouse on the “correct” way to do this.
You say: “You’re being so RUDE,” and huff like one of the three little pigs (or the Megan McCain version of one) and cross your arms for best effect.
Now, repeat after the speaker : “you’re being so RUDE.” Again. That’s better.
That has been today’s executive edition of “Speak like a progressive”.
Congratulations. You’re well on your way to being a progressive a**hat! You should be proud of yourself. Because everyone else is - rightfully - making fun of you!
the word is “Zaftig,” a step below “Rubenesque,” but not far from Rosie O’Donut or Miss Piggy.
Unless you mean “Zoloftig” which might explain the weight gain.
Yes but the weird thing is, Meghan’s McCain’s father’s campaign was run by, and infested with Bush people who were assigned to work for McCain/Palin by the Bush White house.
What kind of disinfo is Meghan pushing here?
She knows dang well Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace worked for both Jeb and W until they came on to her dad’s campaign ... Wallace was assigned to work there by the Bush White House to specifically target Sarah Palin
Until he hired Palin, you dufus! Dufusness runs rampant in the McNuts family!
Yep! You are! A definite lurch to the left!
" . . " she punches above her weight
Why is Megs wearing a tight sweater dress when she’s so fat?Now that’s rude. : )
Zoftig is an acceptable alternative for zaftig. Look it up. I like her looks, not her opinions.
Couldn't disagree more.
She is ugly inside and out, a truly awful tub of banality.
. "...in whose eyes lay," as Steinbeck said, "the weariness and wisdom one sees so often in the eyes of pigs."
Palin added fifteen points to McCain’s polling,
but the results of election were not that he was ‘saved.’
I refuse to watch the five when she’s on
Not the first time that whale’s been on the Five.
“how she is on TV is beyond me”
I asked on FR the very same question and here is what I found out, her dad, John McCain chairs the communications committee, and we know how corrupt the government is now. So hire Megan and get smiled at by the committee.
