I try to be evenhanded in my criticism of candidates.
Carson is not a man I wish to serve as president.
That being said, the world of endorsement is a murky one.
Anyone thinking an endorser knows everything there is to know about a product, or even could realistically know, is not informed themselves.
You have agencies to provide lists of thing to endorse for a fee. They present them as upstanding companies. They and your people vet them. You think it’s okay. You endorse them.
You’re acting in good faith. You don’t know. All of a sudden one goes south, and it’s on your watch.
I do not fault Carson here. It is not evidence of him being a shady character.
IMO < this is gotcha politics. I’m not buying it.
Stick to his platform unless there is something very outlandish to discuss.
Talking to Republican voters in general BlackFemaleArmyCaptain, not you. = :^)
The biggest issue is not that he had a relationship with this company, it is that he denied it.
Your post is, as always very reasoned.
Maybe that is because I agree. :)
I don’t know when Carson endorsed this product. Or if it worked for him.
I will say this...no one on that stage told 100 per cent of the truth. That is not the nature of the beast.
Politics are a nasty business.
