WASHINGTON–From street art to coloring books, Sen. Ted Cruz’s fans have creative ways of praising him.
Now you can add a hip-hop anthem to the list.
Entitled “Time for Truth”–like Cruz’s autobiography–the nearly five-minute jam is written straight out of Cruz’s presidential campaign platform. It also calls the senator “a gift from God,” fighting career politicians and “[leading] us back to freedom, our Constitution and Jesus.”
“Are you fed up with the excuses? / Ted Cruz has got your back. / Standing for America on marriage and Super PACs / Taking down the Washington Cartel / Hes fighting for our well being / A gift from God / Here to act,” as the chorus goes.

In the video, rapper “Juk” and two friends pose in Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton masks interspersed with footage of Cruz in the Senate and on the campaign trail. The author is a Christian hip-hop artist who wanted to lay out the case for Cruz after the first Republican presidential debate in September.
“I felt like they didn’t give Ted Cruz enough time to speak, so I am determined to whatever I can do to let America know what an awesome presidential candidate Ted Cruz really is,” wrote Juk in the description of the YouTube video.
...
This isn’t the first time Cruz inspired a rap song. We Are Watchmen, a self-described movement that uses music and message to mobilize American Christians to civic duty released Set it on fire” in May.

CRUZ OR LOSE 2016...
Though I still hate rap music, that will never change!
That’s consistent with what I’ve believed about Trump — says great things, but really is a RINO.
First time I ever heard someone with 100% conservative voting record called a rino.
Whatever.
I had no idea Trump ever voted for anyone.
Now apologize for being stupid.
Sorry. My mind was on Cruz. Just posted on another thread - so wrong for Freepers to call other Freepers such insults. Maybe go to another site to call names?
